would you guys say that $1k is a fair asking price for 2000 4 door xj with 195k miles on it with a cracked head miss fire on cylinder 6 but with no rust on the rockers or frame rails and the only big rust is a patch on the rear driver quarter panel by the bumper and a small spot on the driver door and the roof above the drivers door

do know about a wj but you can do it with late 2002+ TJ but you can get a new head after shipping and core for $450 a jun one you still need to be machined and checked

Did some accidental wheeling in the Dodge today and broke a swaybar link up front, no big deal.
Decided to give everything a once-over to see if I needed anything else...turns out the rear driveshaft spit out two of the retaining clips at the rear axle yoke. No idea how long it's been like that, didn't look like a recent thing. Nice.

Sad thing is, I have two of those G-clips sitting right here new in bag for spicer 1410s, got em when work decided we didn't need to keep them in stock anymore.
Speaking of things out of dodge rams, think I might cancel my stupid 5.9 v8 mj build plan... I don't have time anymore. Not sure what I will do with it instead. I could pay off some bills just by rebuilding the nv4500 I got for it as a diesel/v10 spec unit and selling it.

swap meet was a little lame this year, weather was great, but not as many vendors as usual.
Biggest score of the day was a 1350 dc driveshaft for $30. either it was protected by leaky motor oil for most of its life, or it was rebuilt fairly recently Everything is in perfect shape with barely any rust. Just have to lengthen it, and boom, saved a couple hundred bucks.
other than that I picked up some small stuff, and whatever 3.5" exhaust tubing i could find. I think I have about enough to do my truck all the way to the back.

There was a 4BT there too, but it was from a payloader and he wanted too much. I think I'm gonna try to find a cheap one in a junkyard now. I got couple leads in places that should have some box vans and bread trucks with them.

Grab a color one though, the 3100's are dirt cheap. If you don't use the color you won't replace toners, but every once in a while you're gonna kick yourself for only having a B&W printer.

enjoy non sucky head and hotter spark that doesn't get heatsoaks.
big fan of the brother integrated print server. They work like champs and don't care about anything. Shove it some TCP data and it prints, Mac, win, *nix, brother is the honeybadger of print servers.
