what about Super Duty D50? They run 30 spline inners and 806 u joints

that slowed me down for a few miles on i95 north.i want to thank the truck drive that wanted to try sky driving when getting on 95S at the rt20 intersection because a) you made everyone late for work and b) you gave me something cool to look at while i was creeping along at 2 mph
auto or manual?Hey guys. Can someone email me some shots of a Jeep factory shifter...the handle, the mechanism below, any shots you have.
Thanks

Colin is right, dodge used 30 (might be 32, but pretty sure it's 30) spline crap in the 94-?? balljoint front 60s. Unsure if 3/4 vs 1 ton matters.Apparently the most difficult part of my front axle build is finding someone who makes a 30-spline shaft that takes an 806x u-joint.
Lots of people make stub shafts that do that, but no inners, because that never existed anywhere.
Problem with cut & respline is the heat-treat after the fact tends to distort the yokes - the u-joint bores are typically finished after heat treat to make sure all the dimensions stay concentric with the splines. (per Branik)
Irritating. So 760x at the wheel and 30-spline stubs, or 44-size RCV all the way around.
Has that goofy middle ujoint setup on the long side but he is putting it in a TTB, after all...what about Super Duty D50? They run 30 spline inners and 806 u joints
That would kick ass. It's either that or get them at the junkyard, which I'm not looking forward to.Ken, I saved a bunch of hardware from ax15s when I did my rebuild. They could use to be cleaned up with a wire wheel to get the grime off but they are not rusty. You are welcome to take whatever you can find in my hardware bin.

Learn to read ken!! I said superduty, no TTB shit in them only solid front axles.
Honestly, I'd do whichever setup is going to give the easiest serviceability and best strength in the wheel bearing area.
If Spidertrax makes the best one, go 35 spline and be done with it.
I don't see you hurting 30 spline 300M stuff with 200HP on 35s, but you never know.
so I start my first union job tomorrow. erecting scaffolds at metlife stadium. they said its going to be heavy lifting all day. just when I was getting used to being fat and lazy.
