****ing hipster.

Btw I like the new rig. Does it have heated seats? I'd like to have a toasty bum while you choufour me around class 6's at rocktoberfest.

I'm aware. I didn't even want body damage on the jeep. Not going to risk it on the truck.

Nope, Connolly leather but not heated. And I'm not risking body damage either... Class 6 roads aren't right trails

When you buying a GM muscle car Bill?!?!
Ha! Ask Angel.
Maybe when I'm 40.
What kind? If it's got electronics on it, there's a good chance that we make the electromagnetic clutch for the blade engage. :)

My little Craftsman works great, except instead of a float in the carb it has a solenoid, which occasionally gets stuck open. Then the whole gas tank empties into the cylinder/crankcase. Happened twice before I figured it out and now I just kick the solenoid on my way off the machine. So yeah, screw electronics on mowers.
Simplicity Broadmoor.
My father has a Broadmoor and a Prestige. Great lawn machines, but his are older and either mechanical only or hydro only, no electronics besides the starter, spark plug, and hour meter.

here ya go Bill, ya need one of these

I'd be swapping banks when I get back if when you call them they can't/don't turn it right back on immediately.

In all seriousness if you need cash I am sure some of us can probably Western Union you a loan or something so you can get home.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Sold the claws.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Western Union still exists guys.

How is a wire transfer going to help him if is card is shut off? He needs cash.

**** that - you need to change banks brostein

Call them and ask what they're going to do to fix the immediate issue of you being unable to access your money from afar.

it was BoA. and its already taken care of. it happened in Stlouis over the weekend. I called them and some computer voice asked if I made some charges and I pressed 1 three times and all was fixed. but it scared the crap out of me for a few min. the email was the only effort they made. no calls to my house or cell. and no texts.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

On the one hand, I don't want them shutting my ass off, but that IS the kind of transactions that typically happen if you get your card number stolen somehow. So I can understand them shutting you down. Just would be really cool if they'd text or call... DCU would usually call me within a couple minutes and their automated system would ask me about the charges. Had zero problems with that setup.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

What's your tire going to be on the new setup?

I left that out since everything else would have just got lost in the background had I put it in. (ha!)

I got creepies a few months ago. Ive got the money now to buy the rest of the stuff I need to gear the axles. Then i just need to gear them, buy/make brackets, and small stuff like brakes.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I use cash on trips. Everywhere takes cash. Cash doesn't complain where it is. Cash doesn't tell me what I can and cant buy.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It's pretty standard practice to call your bank before going on road trips so this doesn't happen

Just sayin

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Nope.
New England Cycle / Power Products.

I've got a verbal hold on one from the dealer we've used before in VT. Getting a good price on it. I should have just dealt with him from the beginning. It is the new model with some electronics on it but I'm not going to avoid that these days. I called the manufacture and according to them there isn't a single NOS model that I'd be interested in on the east coast.

The only other option was to step up to a larger tractor (more $$ and beyond what I need with the other tractor I already have) or try to find a used one. The issue with the used one is nobody takes care of stuff like most of us do. It'll sit outside or even if inside almost nobody cleans the underside of a mower deck at all let alone the several times a year I do; so it ends up being a rusty mess with bad spindles. Or they use those new god-awful "water clean ports". How people think those work is beyond me.

What brand? I am good friends with the family that own the mower store in town and they always have tits stuff, plus the owners son races off-road truggys so you could bs with him

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Their main brand is kubota and I believe simplicity
