THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

When its this cold it takes a while for me to get heat. And it won't get above 150 or so if I just let it idle.

Stupid little ecotecs have a beast cooling system. When doing coolant flushes on them I have to hold the throttle open at about 3500 just to keep the thermostat open.

takes me less than 5 minutes of driving. i set the display on the dash to showme coolant temp, watch it go up to 180, then when it drops to 165-170 when the stat opens i flick on the heat.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

On cold days like this I like to roll my windows down, crank up the ac, take my shirt off and put some Ludacris on my stereo. The music keeps me warm.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Truck was not plugged started right up let it warm up for 10 minutes then sat in traffic for 1.5 hours
hahah I saw that 90 was an absolute disaster so I jumped off at 290, which was a disaster and it took me half an hour to go a few exits so I could get back on 90, then took 495... what a mess. I heard 95 north was ****ed too.

I laid on the horn as I went by Bob's work :moon:

i just got the wix oem replacement they we from a metal can to a plastic can a few years ago read all these reviews on it and eveyone complained that the can was not durable and cross threaded easly so i figured that im not retarded and know how to screw things on and that im not going to huck rocks at it i should be good 6 months later i was right and its easier to remove than the metal can because its narrower

do you still use the WIF sensor? If so do you have one of these wrenches? I got the nicktane filter head adapter and use CAT filters now so I don't have any use for the wif wrench. Lemme know if ya want it fellaaaa

i still have the wif sensor and that would be a nice tool to have im my box. probably make it easier to get off that using a monkey wrench like last time

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yeah I got one from my sister for xmas a couple years ago then used it twice and then got the nicktane adapter head. So I don't really have a use for it... I'll try to remember to put it in the glovebox of the truck and if I see ya at some point I'll throw it into your beautifully ugly face!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

U. guys just swap filters or do you have to bleed the air out?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Duramaxs have a nice pump setup, I do my dads filter dry and pump it up. I mostly fill the filter for my Cummins though. Its coughs for a few seconds and I floor it a little to get the remaining air out when starting. I use fleetgaurd or wix filters only.
