Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

theres a shrader valve on mine, i got a wix filter, ill use the ross floor it method. some on the idi forum recomend lossning up the injectors or some bullshit

Only if you really get a lot of air in or air lock the pump do you need to start cracking injectors. I had the injection lines off my pump the other week. Just crank it with my foot floored. Takes a 10-15secs but it fires up and clears up.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I keep putting off installing my lift pump but it'll be pretttttty nice to do fuel filters...just seal the filter, hop in and turn the key forward. Boom good to go! Yayy

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Well it doesn't NEED to go on. Its just to keep fuel pressure on the cp3 so it can have enough fuel on big tunes.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

parts company I order from frequently just made up for the 4 screwed up orders they've sent me in the last 3 years... they've sent me the wrong components far too often, usually they don't even fit the footprint on the board nevermind functioning right.

This time they accidentally sent me a whole box of 35 expensive toggle switches instead of one :roflmao: $250 in switches fo' free!

I'd be a little more sympathetic and maybe send them back but they have blown my deadline 4 times too many in the past and I even put a note on the order form to please check quantities and part numbers before shipping, so they can deal with it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have a paper element in a filter housing. Take off the cap and put the new filter in. No need to bleed anything.

Lucky you, mine goats the water separator on bottom gotta in screw both then take off the water separator and I still it on the new filter then re install all

Stuck in San Francisco currently. Was supposed to fly back in the morning but got ****ed by the weather.

On round 3 trying to call United to see what I can do. The first time, I waited on hold for 40 minutes, finally had someone answer, and in my excitement I hit 'end call' by mistake. Next time on hold for an hour, and then I start hearing other peoples' conversations  like one of the operators accidentally added me to a conference call or something. Which is great, except I was on mute. So I sat through three people's busted travel plans, yelling occasionally, talked shit that no one could hear, and finally just figured that my call had been taken out of the queue and I'd be in limbo forever.

45 minutes into holding again, so far. Their ****ing hold music is ****ing terrible.

I'm on vacation and can't get home

#whitepeopleproblems

My vacation ended on Monday night. Since then it's been almost 500 miles and 7 customer visits.

Napa Valley is cool but grape vines get as boring as cornfields after staring at them for a few hundred miles.

Could be worse, I doubt I'll end up eating any additional costs, but it's just irritating. Still on hold. I'm sure everyone at United has packed up and went home at this point. Wouldn't want to be a call center worker during a shitstorm like this...

Last year when I was trying to work with American Airlines to reschedule my Texas trip, I'm pretty sure their 'call center' is a router that sends calls to random peoples' houses. The lady I ended up talking to was able to help me out but there was definitely dinner cooking and a baby crying in the background.
