My roommates idiot friend let my cat out tonight, and idiot me didn't notice for almost 2hrs. Thanks to a helpful neighbor who spotted him we found him hiding in the basement under the stairs. He finally came out after 30 minutes or more and I had to carry him upstairs and wash the dirt off of him, which he wasn't particularly thrilled about. I would have cried like a baby if I lost him, worse than when the ZJ brokeded. #catproblems

my moms/sisters cats always came back and howled at the door when they got out. im so allergic to them that it was a nice reprieve the few times they got out.
aaand so begings my vacation (well i half half a day at most tomorrow), i'll be up til 3 every night doing now til the 2nd. really wish i had a garage to do some work on the jeep :-(

Colin, if you haven't seen this, you probably should.
It has 440s and mopars and desert offroad stuff and all manner of shenanigans in it. Roadkill is probably my favorite show ever.

Finally met my neighbor btw. The kid who has a garage in the 'chicken coop' in the backyard. Saturday I finished workin in mine around 1:30 AM and went inside to get another beer, saw that his lights were still on and heard a guitar coming from there. So I walked over, he and his buddies were just hanging out. So we got to bullshitting and his one friend asked what I do...long story short I tried to explain it and he goes "oh, like King of the Hammers stuff"?
Made my description a lot shorter after that, especially after we hung out in my garage for a bit. My neighbors love me now.
Plus they all play guitar & drums and I brought mine over and we jammed until 6 AM. FML.
Oh, and I bought another guitar today, from dirt bike chick's friend who's moving to Cali in a few weeks. Dean acoustic/electric for $100 so I don't hafta bring my Gibson everywhere, and she needed the cash for moving and xmas shopping. I'm pretty happy with it and my Gibson is officially retired to studio life.
