Yup, love my Apple TV for that. You android people should pick up chromecast... Stupid cheap for what it does. I got one for my sister for Christmas.

I may actually drop the WiFi part of it and run it wired, it's right next to the router anyway. My router is a little aged and the signal gets sketchy sometimes.

Although I did use it to stream the last SOA episode in HD and it worked fine for that.

So I got bored at work today and looked up v8 focuses.

Then after work I bought a 5.0 :laugh: god I'm such a pathetic sucker for dumb but awesome things...

Yeah but I got the engine for $200 and I want to see how cheap I can hack it together. Who knows, maybe I'll smarten up and just leave the car alone. But odds are better that I'll do it once I get my own place. In the meantime I can wait for good deals and have a perfectly reasonable economical boring car.

The 1st gen focus was planned to have an awd version for WRC, it already has a tunnel for the rear driveshaft. Sad they never made a turbo awd homologation special. The rules changed right after the car was put into production.

5.0 in a Focus would be sweet. Tons of fun I bet.

My truck drives smoother/quieter than ever (well...for what it is :laugh:). I'm amazed the gearset isn't junk after having the pinion nut be finger tight for who knows how long.

Also the fifth gear housing had a nice fracture almost all the way across it. Put the new one on and everything is mint now. Just need to fix the turbo oil drain gasket and the power steering lines I think and I MIGHT have a leak free truck for the first time in 4 years :laugh:

An AWD Focus is something I would actually drive.

Kinda surprised the gearset isn't trashed too, between the low oil and running it with the pinion sideways :laugh2: how did the oil look coming out, lots of metal or normal?

D80 4WD calls for 5 quarts of gear oil. When I checked it after driving it for a full day (about 70 miles) I had to add about 3 quarts.

Oil looked fine coming out, just old. It's synethic oil I had in there for about 60k miles. No metal/shimmering or anything.

Gearset looked fine. Just used looking, no polishing or chipping or anything. Bearings didn't feel too bad but who knows. I probably could have just tightened up the nut and ran with it :laugh:

If you like that, check out Factory 5's "818" kit. Yeah, its 10k plus you supply a wrecked WRX for the drivetrain, but you end up with a mid-engine, sub-2000 lb. roadster with plenty of upgrade potential in the power department...looks good, too.
...think "build your own turbo Boxster on the cheap"

Looking at a powerstroke for a dd! That IDI was way to shot out.
When you dont know what glow plugs are thats not good for a sale.

When you have had a diesel for 6 years I would hope you know what glow plugs are.
And when you say it will fire up no problems, it should.
