hopefully this weekend. Im losing my mind without my tools/jeep/truck. I have way too much free time. Iv actually been trying to get my boss to schedule me for 12-16hr days just to help me pass the time, but he wont.

I have the 2 ton. Catch the sale just right and you can get it for around $175

I'm not sure they sell that one anymore. Mine has fold down legs, can't extend them. Tucks away nice. I wouldn't have a place to put one without the folding legs, unless I kept it outside, yuck. No issues with stability even on my disgusting driveway.

Yea, my engine hoist is something like 6 years old. I bought it to take the engine out of Carmelo's red XJ.

I got my hoist from pep boys, 2ton fold up. Its at least 10yrs old and done a dozen engine swaps and a bunch of axles. In a few weeks I hope to use it myself for the first time, its such a whore, a bunch of the NAC has used it.

I got my hoist from Ross and Dundy.

Then gave it back to them.

Now we have someone elses stored at our house. Probably give it back to them at some point in the future.

I bought my engine hoist from harbor freight and have stored it outside for something like 2 years now, still works great.

The piston is kinda corroded from me being an idiot and leaving it out in the rain with the arm up a few times, but it still works, just leaks a little oil... I could probably replace the seal but I don't care that much. Mostly because I only use it to unload shit out of the truck now, since I have the crane and it fits both the MJ and the 5 ton.

If he does, by all means share it...! I'd consider doing one at some point, I have a good parts hookup..My fiancee's brother in law is head of marketing at Subaru. Flies all over the damn world to set the cars up for commercial shoots. He just got back from Iceland (and yeah, he got to run the glaciers in a giant HiLux, the lucky bastard)
