New goal: in 8 years when I can finally re-enter Canada, I'd like to drive the Lewis and Clark trail (with a side trip to Mt. Rushmore), head north through Canada onto the AlCan highway, end up in Alaska, and then go through the Northwest Territories/Yellowknife and possibly Michigan U.P. on the way home.
Only 11,000 miles and 200 hours. Wonder what a realistic time frame for that would be.
Did you just watch that Motortrend Roadkill episode?
In the meanwhile I'll have to be content with being part of a 1450-class desert race team and going to Primm, Laughlin, Vegas to Reno, and a few others next year, and a run at the Baja 500 in 2015. Somebody I know at a fab shop near here is in the middle of negotiating a big ****in hookup.![]()
