Just called Ruffstuff. Dan answered in such a pleasant way I thought I was getting an answering machine. "Hello, this is Dan at Ruffstuff Specialties, for some odd.... weird reason I am the only one here right now answering the phones, would you mind if I just called you back in a few minutes?"

He took the phone with him into the warehouse and we went for a little trip to see what I had ordered was backordered lol.

nice lol. whenever someone is ready to bash ruffstuff something like this happens.

blew the o-ring (or the hose?) for my PS. idk which one, i think the return. leaked all over the place driving home from the hamptons, had to stop and fill it twice.. no big. i guess i'll replace it this weekend.

not my bender not my call. Its only for seat mounts. I can butt weld that shit and make it work, just wanted a clean look.

at the new England auto show I got a thing from Lincoln that if I test drove one of their cars I get $50 and now I am on their junk mailing list

just got in the mail today a free Lincoln space pen and another offer to test drive one of their cars but this time I get a free$330 pair of sun glasses

I ordered some 1.5" UHMW from mc master car and its 1 5/8. wtf.
I went back and reread the description and it says this

"Rods have a plus diameter tolerance for finishing to the sizes listed."

so they sell it big so I can put it on a lathe and make it exactly 1.5"

that seems dumb.

Not if you want to use it for like a bushing or something more important where you're going to want a good finish.

well if you want to use it for that purpose then buy it bigger. don't force everyone to buy it bigger then its labeled. you dig?

nope 1.5 Im going to ramp one end and put some oil on it and hopefully I can press it in. but then if I ever need or want to change the bump stop I have to throw the whole prothane away cause Ill never get it out.
