nope 1.5 Im going to ramp one end and put some oil on it and hopefully I can press it in. but then if I ever need or want to change the bump stop I have to throw the whole prothane away cause Ill never get it out.

if that doesn't work, my dad says he has a wood lathe somewhere so Ill try that.

You're going to press a piece of rod down the center? Any sort of cap at the top? I don't see why you wouldn't be able to press it out the opposite way if you had to, assuming you have some sort of lube in there.

Could just do what I did for Pat's Prothanes- poop pipe with a cap on top, then welded a bead around the edge of the pipe to get it close to the same size as the hole in the Prothane, then keep it in place with some RTV. Seems to be working so far for him.

EDIT: Can't see the picture either, sorry, in case that answers my question. Work blocks a lot of photo sites.

I have another idea mulling around in my head right now I think ima gonna go with. also thought of an easy way to make them adjustable. (just front to back, but id rather have a little adjustability than none at all)

I just briefly looked into MOAB for a possible vacation place. Apparently they have pretty weird drinking laws. Lots of stuff to do during the day but not much during the night?

yea I have a cap for it. but I need an absolute stopping point to stop shit from hitting my oil pan. that's where the rod comes into play. I like the rtv idea, my caps fit tight but still fall out some times.

and the its just a pic of pats dick. you already know what looks like.

They have a weird law where you can only buy a 6 pack at once or something. Solution, Bring beer from Colorado, you have to drive to moab to get there anyway. There's a brewery and some cool restaurants n junk. I didn't do too much nightlife stuff while there though. Its cool place with lots of cool shit but you have to share the town with hippies.

Didn't really plan on driving, not a bad idea though really. I got the impression it was mostly conservatives there. Like I said though, the day shit sounds cool enough, I was just looking for somewhere I could get shit faced and cause trouble with my girlfriend at night.

What I meant is you have to take some form of ground transportation to get there. The nearest airport is grand junction Colorado. And you can get as much booze as you want there.
