im dumb. I went back and looked and found it right away.

all the cool kids run dieing rim sizes.

speaking of stazworks, I was thinking of getting their cold roll rings for the inside lip of my H1s to keep them from bending. I figure id be better off spending some extra money rather that the time and effort to heat and bend some 1/2" rod into my wheels.

anyone else have any experience with that?

Heat and bending would work but wouldn't be as consistent as if someone used a ring roller obviously.

Last night was pretty ****in epic. My friend Tim (the guy who I helped out at KOH) had a birthday sorta thing that was also a kickoff for this racing season, so not only was it all of our racing crew, but we started off by racing. :)

Electric karts are FAST. We had a wreck in our first race that sent my friend's father-in-law to the hospital with a broken vertebrae. That ended the race early so naturally we were all just itchin to get back on the track...

Second race, all us 'racers' competed at the same time...I got 5th but the time spread between all of us, over 20 laps, was within half a second. Guess we all had the track figured out pretty well. :laugh:

I also brought my old front 60 out to deliver it to one of our other racing buddies...$1k later I finally have some floor space back in my garage.

Fun weekend for sure. :D

We also had a bunch of mylar birthday balloons that followed us from the race track to the bar later, and I took it upon myself to pop them with my knife when last call came around.


The balloon offered a little less resistance than I was expecting, and my knife kinda carried through to my other hand.

Peroxide, slap some stitches in it, and keep on going.

That was kinda dumb though, you should have just stabbed it midair.

Wire knot wheels on a grinder do an awesome job of making a complete mess and getting crud and grease all over yourself. At least now I have the HP60 stripped and the knuckles cleaned up and ready for paint.

Which Autozone is the dumbest in the area? Im going to attempt to warrenty the 60 pads, rotors, and calipers. Pads and calipers are supposed to be lifetime and the rotors 2yr, which I still fall within bounds of.

Every Auto Zone I've been to is pretty dumb. But I've never had any issues gattimg anything warrantied as long as it was in the system or had the reciept.

So after all that header BS, its a voltage issue. I think the regulator is causing spikes and drops and overcharging the battery. Not sure but I'm gonna try a few things this week...

Man this shit sucks.
