THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'd rather not go wheeling and save money, than ever buy another set of Iroks.

Boggers have shit for lateral traction and will send you downhill sideways in a heartbeat if you start spinning them while even a little off camber.

Trxus MT's actually did really well for me and are one of my favorite tires I've ever owned.

Plain ol' TSLs are hard to beat for a balance of value/durability/traction. I'd skip the Boggers though.

U don't wheel now anyways

Actually I do, just on a budget boost and 31's. :gag:

And if I wanted to rush things and buy shit just because it's there and I have the money at the time, regardless of whether it's a good product, then I'd be wheeling much sooner. :D

Not many of us do

At least some of us are working to remedy that situation.

Sorry, I've been busy buying guns and reloading stuff. Self sufficiency is nice. Everyone is out panicking about how much ammo they can't get and I'm sitting on... well, you nevermind how much I'm sitting on.

What's a realistic timeframe for the buggy to be driving? another year?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It's where you stand around in the woods and talk shit and make dick jokes.
wheeling = camping = hunting = hiking = fishing ...

any predominantly male activity!:scared:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have a MIDI cable on order from a place near Memphis...they sent it two days ago by USPS.

Check the tracking on it, and I guess it made it to the regional sort facility, but now its status is "missent" which apparently means it's just "not where it's supposed to be" and will be corrected soon. I found this complaint while I was figuring out what that meant:

What does missent mean? Well I found out what it means after doing a lot of google searching. What missent really means is some postal worker is mad about something and doesn't care about the package they just wanted to throw it somewhere because they were mad. The logical reason for the problem should be a messed up shipping label but that is what computers are for, to look at where the tracking number on the package says the package CAME FROM and then fix the shipping label so it will get delivered but no that must be too hard for some people to do so I have to go with the theory that the whole fiasco is because of some angry worker that didn't get their check on time or is racist or just doesn't care etc.

Why would my package LEAVE THE STATE I LIVE IN and go to florida? Also I am really glad that I don't live in dunwoody. That is supposed to be a nice place to live where people have real jobs and if you have a real job that pays for mortgage and bills and cars that means you are smart enough to fix a shipping label or use a computer to solve a problem like this.

So I replaced the crank sensor on the '88 XJ over the weekend, and it still doesn't start.

Any other dumb shit to check on a Renix? I always say I don't actually know stuff about Jeeps but I know even less about Renix stuff.

Lunghd.com is the renix site of all renix sites

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Is C101 bypassed? Make sure at least the CPS wiring in it is. It's the goofy big connector that just sorta flops around over the brake booster.

Also, check your fusible links.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I've had a more coils shit the bed on me than cps's.

I almost always carried a spare sensor for everything. Parts jeeps are great.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I only replaced the crank sensor because I knew that unplugging it and plugging it back in again sometimes fixed the problem, not because I did any real diagnosis on it. :dunce:

Gonna check the coil/ICU connection when I get home I guess, don't have a lot of time to spend on it today but that's easy enough to do.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I really think my wheeling days are done. Building another Jeep just to not use it really isn't on my mind right now. Anyone want to seriously buy Rob's old green Jeep I have? I don't really see much of a point in reupping for another year of not Jeeping.

Selling stuff to start funding a 2 week long trip to Bikini Atoll to check out the Nuclear Fleet in 2015 is though.

I'm gonna try unplugging that and plugging it back in again after work. That seems to fix most things.

In other news, our front desk girl (the one who looks like Chris Griffin) is a passive-aggressive ****. Just got this email:

Just to let everyone know, the girl with the bad back (me) just changed the water cooler bottle because whoever emptied it last didn't put a new one on.

Does she get harrassed? Because an email like that is practically open season here. Not really... they just don't get sent.
