I pretty much agree with Colin. Quit overthinking it and just throw the thing together you loser. When I had clayton arms on my old jeep, never once did I get hung up on them, and with this jeep they're mounted like that too and I can't think of anytime that it's stopped the jeep dead in its tracks. So I don't see why people make it out to be some huge problem or something :dunno:

There was a video earlier.
I was the asshole that kept positioning the wrecker between the camera and the dead body.
texting and driving, now 1 person is dead, the other not far from it. It took 2 hours to cut the victims out. The truck on my flatbed is much worse on the drivers side. The front axle is almost 90 degrees from straight.

well yeah.

So I'm debating mounting the radius arms directly under the frame rails.

Pros:
- better arm angle at ride height (as much as radius arms can suck, they suck less when horizontal)
- no front crossmember needed = one piece front driveshaft
- there's a reason why everyone puts them there on this chassis; it's because at full stuff there's really no good way to have them inboard of the frame rails

Cons:
- ground clearance
- ...

Finally decided to use my Ballistic Fab gift certificate I won at nac fest last year. Got a bunch of little tabs and trick tabs with the "pem nuts" whatever the hell those are. :dunno:

Gay that they won't let you use it towards shipping, and they charge pretty gay shipping rates, but whatever. I got a bunch of little shit for $25 so not the end of the world I guess.

took apart my front end today. the driver side loosened up AGAIN and the pass side didnt look like it even had any water or dirt in it. the mad4wd tube seals fit mint.
