THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

For $600 they should come to your house and weld it for you.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

whats the fetish with cutting the casting on them housings

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If you're stupid, yes. If you're not, no.

Im not that stupid. I just saw on a forum once some guy complaining how whenever you weld a full truss, the housing will warp unless you put some "serious preload" on the housing. Figured it was just typical forum BS.

Thanks for the insight guys, ill do exactly what Sam described.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just realized i left the fog lights on my black xj, went outside turned the lights off, battery was dead. My moms car was blocking me in the driveway so i started to walk back inside, realized the jeep was rolling backwards, and it bumped into her gay car... ****... huge dent in the side. **** **** **** **** ****. This is not my week

oops.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Buy a $300 carport. Work on shit all winter. Ken is a bitch.
cool story bro :kissyou: As someone who's replaced a transfer case in 20 degree weather with high winds, done a diff service in a snowstorm in a parking lot, swapped an engine in a thunderstorm, installed headgaskets on a military truck in multiple feet of snow after dark in freakin' january, and put a new roof on my house in single digit temperatures, I beg to differ :moon:

I would just prefer not to have to prove I can do that all over again this winter. Been there, done that, don't want to walk uphill both ways to school anymore if I can find a cheap way to avoid it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You're a bitch.

It's just funny because you were always the first one to jump on someone for wanting ANY kind of comfort while working on something.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Did you do it with it running and all that Ross?

I left it off against most people's judgement.

I just went in with a magnet about 100 times, used grease on the drill bit, and then a vacuum to suck as much stuff up as I could.

That was about 70k miles ago.

not runnimg, just grease packed in the bit/tap. stuck a magnet in once or twice and it was clean. my fuel had a little air in rhe system so the extended crank time was enough to push anything out past the turbo before it was spooling

As I recall I've only ever jumped on people for whining about their jeeps being broken instead of sacking up and fixing them in whatever conditions, then going wheeling. I can see why you would think my hypocritical comments are funny though.

Also, my POS MJ with a tired stock motor hit 55 offroad last night. I hear yours with the earthshaking v6 440 can idle now :firedevil

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

All I want to do is buy a stupid pair of TIG gloves for $20 and I don't even have enough. When I bought the welder for $800 I was able to borrow $700 of it and still don't have any money in the bank.

Any of you homos want a stinger and shock hoops? BUY THEM
