is it too much to ask a company to make parts that actually fit? my pinion skid and diff cover holes are all off. yes i installed every bolt loosely. i even ordered longer bolts from them and they are the wrong diameter. looks like im drilling holes bigger and making a run to the hardware store. lesson learned. dont order from a company that has the same products as ruffstuff for a few bucks cheaper.

Lesson learned rustys mj leafs are nice but the bushings blow chunks and stock ones don't fit. Temptation to buy a big chunk of 2.5" polyurethane and turn myself some bushings: rising
Seems the leafs have a 2" ID main eye and a 1.5" ID shackle eye. Stock is 2.5" and 1.75" :bs: why would they even do that?

don't say that, I have a lot to hack together on the MJ before it is ready for NACFest.
I did just fix my high lift for $1 though. Had to replace the cross pins through the ratchet pins and High Lift wants $28 for the kit, so I bought a piece of 3/16 steel rod and cut pieces to fit.

that was dumb if its the piece i'm thinking it might be...1/4" ratchet extention fits mint, and it doubles as a 1/4" ratchet extention!!!

yup. hopefully i'll be done by then. i'm going to spend a lot of time working on it, weather permitting, but i'm not going to rush it. tube is too expensive to hack this together heh

I already have the old door latch actuator rod from some random junkyard vehicle holding the base onto the vertical piece on mine :gee:
not the little peg that holds the base onto the vertical piece, the little pegs that go through the ratcheting things and ride on the cam thing that sets whether it's going up or down.
