And being open on Sat/Sun is nice but probably doesn't help me all that much right now. I'm looking to get the ammo before heading up to VT and we will probably be driving up to VT on a Friday night (and won't be in NH until after normal business hours). I do see that Rileys is open until 9PM on Friday so we MIGHT be able to make it in time if we get on the road right after everyone gets home from work but I'm not too optimistic about that. If I could stop by on my way north that would be great but making a dedicated a trip for ammo would be a waste; I'd save $40 on the ammo itself but I'd spend $30 on gas. I'd rather just buy local and save the time.
Still hoping I can work out a deal with one of the local shops. If I can negotiate to get anther 91/30 with a can of ammo for $200 I might do that

Depends on the state I think. I'm pretty sure in MA an LTC or FID is required to buy ammo (just like an FID is required to buy long guns which isn't the case in all states).

I used to have netflix but canceled. Yeah it had some good stuff but the instant stream selection was kindof 'meh' and I didn't find myself using it enough to justify $8 per month or whatever it costs now.
I didn't/don't watch much TV anyway and once I got my TV tuner and could record a few shows that I normally missed during the week (and watch them at my leisure) that was sufficient to appease my TV needs.
Speaking of TV shows, I gotta catch up on Hell on Wheels. I have been recording that series but only watched the first couple episodes.

Did you buy the ammo at a range or at a store? I've bought ammo at ranges w/o an my LTC in the past but have had to show my LTC every time I purchase from a gun shop or other store (e.g. walmart, dicks, etc).

couple small gun shops. I guess maybe I got lucky or the old dude behind the counter either had faith I wasn't out to screw him, or just plain forgot to ask me :laugh:

Weird. I have been IDed every time I even wanted to even touch a gun or ammo in a store, regardless of whether I was buying or not.
I can't wait to get out to the range again. I really want to join a club but don't want to spend the money since I hope to be moving out of state ASAP.
