Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

XXXX. i just overcooked my hamburger.

Whatever, skipping work tomorrow morning to go shooting. Then going to show up at the office around 1, take care of a couple things, and go home. Should be a good day.

Burger was actually fine, just a bit blackened on one side. Whatever. The rest of the stuff I put on it made up for it (except I kinda wish I had a bun but I can live without that I guess)

And yes, I got a couple. Just a Mosin and a Remington 582 (tube feed bolt action .22) for now.

I'm also eyeing a Ruger MKIII that I found for $250. Thinking about picking that up early next week along with, possibly, a 9mm or a .357 revolver (haven't decided which yet).

Get both you silly goose! Xmas present to self!

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I found that a semi-local shop can order the ruger SP-101 for ~$450 so both might be an option. I'll definitely be getting the ruger if I can find confirmation that $250 is a good price for a used MKIII (more looking for other MKIIIs for sale in that range) and will probably get the .357 revolver ordered along with it... the 9mm might have to wait until after the new year.

edit: damnit, just rechecked the website and the MKIII must have sold yesterday or today. Back to shopping for a good .22 handgun I guess. Though the same place has a 22/45 so I might just go that route.

Anyone happen to have an exhaust manifold laying around for a 99? Mines cracked right in the Y and I need a new one to pass Inspection. (I can try to weld it but one w/o cracks would be nice)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

just saw this, more info?

94 f250. i got them from the dealer for like $12 each

shock_mount.jpg

they will take some modification to fit on an xj, but it can be done nicely

and some shocks wont work with it due to hose placement. foa's take a significant amount of work to get to fit, but my 7100's wouldnt have (foa has the heim super close to the shock body)
