30% off sale at sears in putnam20 year old craftsman drill finally gave up right as i was doing my last notch before having to come in.
Gonna head to sears on Monday to get another or a milwaukee.
I AM SO EFFING TIRED OF DRAINING FLUIDS TO FIND METAL SHAVINGS IN THEM...
Once, just ONCE, I would like to open a transfercase or axle in a Jeep, and NOT FIND METAL SHAVINGS!

I found that a semi-local shop can order the ruger SP-101 for ~$450 so both might be an option. I'll definitely be getting the ruger if I can find confirmation that $250 is a good price for a used MKIII (more looking for other MKIIIs for sale in that range) and will probably get the .357 revolver ordered along with it... the 9mm might have to wait until after the new year.
edit: damnit, just rechecked the website and the MKIII must have sold yesterday or today. Back to shopping for a good .22 handgun I guess. Though the same place has a 22/45 so I might just go that route.
For a .22 look at a browning buckmark. I prefer mine to any of the rugers i have shot. I know travis has shot mine, you can ask what he thinks.
as far as a.357, skip the 101 and get a lcr
Check out some YouTube reviews. I've heard theyre less than fun to shoot.
SANTA CAME TO MY HOUSE YAAAAAAYYY!
LCR. I've heard nothing but good about the Buck Mark. I'll probably be shooting an LCR soon, my buddy just got one this morning.Which? The buckmark or the lcr? And the LCR looks pretty good but I would probably be getting the SP-101 with a 4" barrel so we'll see.
And the Mustang decided to give me a nice christmas gift tonight. E-brake froze up while at my grandmothers. I started driving home and felt like something was dragging.... stopped and the ebrake was smoking and smelled like shit... FIRI, got home. I'll tear it apart tomorrow or something, probably just order a whole brand new everything and re-do it.
Cool, I'll keep my eye out for a buckmaster but I think it's going to come down to which I find at a good price first. Like I mentioned I'm probably going for a 4" SP-101 anyway and picking up an automatic for CC so the extra size of the SP101 isn't a deal breaker and I do like the exposed hammer. Though I was already looking at an LCR when I was considering a revolver for concealed/pocket carry but I think i moved on from that for the time being.LCR.
