ANTHONY, BUY THAT RIGHT NOW!

It's something I'd like to do, but I know I'm not invincible. Chances of surviving a KOH race and being roadworthy to drive 3000 miles home are slim to none.

So unless you wanna pull a trailer behind your XJ, I'm sure Travis would be more than happy to step up. :D

Ok ok bring the cummins. Plus it'll be really cold driving w no windshield in february

If Anthony buys that jeep, I promise not to make fun of his motorcycle and vw. I bet if a couple of you others did the same, he'd consider it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

But there's a much higher chance of something breaking on a wheeling rig then a tow rig, especially on the return home.
This is why I wheel an MJ now.
I only need to expand my spare parts collection a little bit before I can literally say I have everything to replace everything important on my jeep. My wheeling plans right now are:
* throw everything in back of MJ
* drive through night
* get to camp, throw everything out of back of MJ into campsite
* go wheeling
* ???
* profit!

Hahah, I was just looking at the bottom of the page at the "related threads" and they are all derivatives of the LOPT theme. Then I saw that Ken actually made a thread in the help forum asking the forum gurus for help saying he was having trouble viewing the LOPT back in 2010. Nice.
Stop reading my mind dude. I noticed that right before I left the office last night. I had completely forgotten that thread.

I didn't say not allow it to start. Rig up something clever like 1 minute run time before it shuts itself off, top speed of 3 mph, etc. Ken could probably wire something like that up.

Plus, you drive the Jeep to them, they load it up, you take the keys. You get to where they are delivering it with the key before them, hand them the key, they unload it. :D

DUDE, park them sideways on the trailer, and we can get a sweet convoy going down the highway with flashing lights and banners: WIDE LOAD!
I'm most of the way done with designing a similar circuit to the top speed one for Geoff.

And Rob doesn't need to park sideways to be cool like that. :laugh:

FTFY

I'm also not sitting on 3k right now :laugh:
sell some of your build stuff and I bet you are.

Oh, and you have everything to convert an OBD-I to 5-speed. If I can do it on my back porch with hand tools and a 110v fluxcore you can do it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Seriously anthony... if that thing's ready to go, just buy it. Take out a personal loan for now, and sell the air shocks and whatever random crap you have. boom wheeling again.

Sold the air shocks a long time ago haha.

I could sell the other stuff though...

I have designed something similar. Not in operation, but in effectiveness.

Here's how it works.
-Guy picks up jeep.
-I tell the guy if I see even one more mile added to my odometer I'll slit his nutsack and stomp in his face.
-Mark speedometer cable for inspection later.

Quick, free and effective.

You nerds waste too much time.

hey personally I just keep my suspension so scary that most people shit themselves if they do more than 20mph in it. But some people want nifty whizbang stuff I guess :dunno:

You don't have to worry about anyone wanting to steal your jeep.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

In all honesty Anthony, I would sell off all your 1-ton crap, doubler shit, etc.

You can always get the stuff back later if you get really into wheeling again.

But you don't need any of that to just go out and have a good time without spending a ton of money.
