THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm glad you hate the city, I'm glad you do.

Its not a problem of having a job in a city, its the whole "living in it" thing.

Like Bill said, you're never going to win, so just drop it.

I drove my truck into Boston like two times.

I would NEVER want to own a truck living in the city.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I've had my truck in Inman Square a few times, never had a problem. I know it's not Boston proper but since no one's talking about anything else right now, I figured I'd share my irrelevant story.

Ken, I have an external slave bellhousing from a '94 YJ 4-cylinder, I think I have the fork & slave for it too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

jeep looks sick adam, but I must ask you colin and bill why not put the rockers up higher like me tpain and kieth? Same amount of work with more gain.

Now I know how tpain will park in the city, he's gonna drive up to where he wants if cars are in his way he will just drag them out of the way then park

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yup. house pulling truck in the city? no problem.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Neither do I. Nor do I live out by Virginia, West Virginia, Tellico, Harlan, Uwharrie, upstate New York, or New England.

 I just mean I'll probably wheel there like once in my life.

I wheel in New England on average once a month, usually more. I'd rather build for up here than out there. And like I said, my rockers have yet to hold me back. They've definitely dragged over stuff but that's what they're there for.

Stop being a bitch and wheel gretchens, its pretty awsome seing scott smash his rockers in his monster truck

I know I wish I could have went this weekend. I promised Adam I'd help him finish his XJ though, and I needed this weekend to do so. I also have a few loose ends to tie up on my MJ this week/weekend, and my CTD needs an inspection sticker by the end of this month. Basically just needs the e-brake cables fixed.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

so adam, does this mean you'll wheel your jeep at rocktoberfest? or are you just gonna put around and watch everyone else drive over stuff?

I broke a seat bolt so he's gonna part it out.

:D

In all seriousness, a LOT of issues got fixed. There was a lot of gross shit on his XJ that needed replaced.

The drop brackets/control arms were GROSS. Rockrails had literally punched THROUGH the rockers, and were held on by like 4 bolts. Fixed the tweaked exhaust mounts/crossover pipe, stiffened up the frame (was dented in a few spots).

I'm sure he'll be wheeling it hard enough. I don't blame him for not wanting to blow up a 3rd or 4th (I forget at this point? haha) D30.

Adam burned by the kid who probably had more interactions with rocks than he did. :D
