wah wah. i did almost everything you did out west save for like 3 obstacles with 33s and one locker. add a front locker to that i couldve made it up escalator and potato salad hill.

...and it was junk when you got home.

the unibody was already pretty toast, it had zero stiffening. the only failures besides that were wear items on the D30 (ujoints, ball joints, hubs) and a few seals here and there. dropping indy was something i would have done knowing i was gonna junk the truck when i got home.

i'm trying to make this work out the best for me. the body and drivetrain of this thing is XXXXing mint, its fully stiffened, and almost half caged. i really dont want to do hardcore eff up your shit crawling anymore, i wanted to be able to go out and do anything... but 33s, two lockers... i'll be more than happy. i'll be able to get out and wheel, and have a nice DD.

I was gonna do some kinda project with parts from all of them but it seems like it might be hard and cost money, so I'm just gonna quit.

It's not the computer that keeps me awake, and reading would be even worse, as I'll read a whole novel in one sitting sometimes. It's the fact that when 10-11:00 rolls around I get a serious second wind for the day.

I could force myself to try and sleep then, sure...tried it before. And I spend 4 hours staring at the ceiling wondering why I'm even bothering.

You just got a nice DD, the jeep doesn't have to do that anymore.

I had stock axles with 33's and two lockers, and running not-hardcore stuff and daily driving it I still broke axleshafts and had issues with balljoints and unit bearings. I know I'm building a smaller rig again but I would never put a stock dana 30 back under anything with any intentions of wheeling it and expect it to be magically maintenance free.

WTF do you need besides a couple steering components?

If I ever had a Jeep as "complete" as Adam's there is no way I'd part it out. It would get repaired and driven/wheeled. It might not be my DD, but I'd call myself a moron and slap myself a few times if I parted it.

Reading, TV, or conversation are the only things that keeps me up. If I can pry myself away from whatever it is that I'm engaged in I can usually fall asleep.

The sides are hacked up to fit the tubework and a few of the studs that hold it to the rad support are broken/stripped.

You probably don't want it.
