THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm cheap and sometimes I check vending machines for spare change. Today I found an unopened, still cold can of Coke sitting in the tray.

I love when shit like that happens, I have had a few times that I found a 2nd unopened can in the tray when I get a soda but I never check just for shits and giggles.

And its not so much of a cut as it is a scrape type thing. Was trying to climb through a tight spot between shed/car in my buddy's yard (while wearing sandals) and tore off about a 1" round chunk of skin. Worst part being it's pretty much right behind/above that bone on the inside of the foot (the one that is right above the arch of your foot, whatever it's called).

I was turning into Betty White so I had a Snickers. I don't go out of my way to check, but if I'm right there I'll check.

That'd be your ankle ;)

I might go to the 99, depends when Howie does my windshield and I got look at two more auto repair sidejobs. E350 at my moms work needs a steering box and this kid called me cause he got in a little fender bender and needs some front sheetmetal and maybe a radiator. Im also slammed at regular work lately too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

For anyone who's run them, are the Bilstein 5150's worth the cash over the 5125's?

same shock. but with a resivoir

all the resivoir does is help keep the oil cooler.

but its a friggin tiny resivoir and they heat up pretty good anyway. 99.8% of all people who run them wouldnt be able to tell the difference.

I figured it would just run cooler, but if it's that small of a difference then screw it I'll save my cash. Any other recommendations for shocks for the ZJ? Thanks.

First of all, Sam, I agree... sever. She's too nuts to deal with, if she was going to off herself she would have done it right after the breakup. If she threatens it again, tell her you are going to call the cops. And stop dealing with her it's not worth it. And it's 100% Not Your Problem Anymore since she is with someone else now.

OK, we totally just had an earthquake happen.

XXXXing weird.

Anyone else?
Yup. A bunch of buildings in Manhattan got evacuated including the one I was in. So I went home

Apparently the epicenter was down near Washington? I'm going to take this as a vote against the 537 idiots down there who can't figure out what to do.

I never had that problem.

What I found was that the pump themselves were two different sizes.

I mixed and match them throughout the years without a problem. I think all I did was trim a rubber hose or something.

If you run a renix sending unit in an OBD1 tank or the other way around it will read backwards.
Yup. and nowhere near linear either. My 91 has an 88 sender in it and it reads full till about 1/2 of a tank, then drops like a rock. At around 1/4 on the gauge I have 1/8 left and when the gauge hits empty I better be ready to start walking.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

We're gonna rip it up

So wait it's planned for the 3rd then? And Billy is racing?

Colin, what are you doing this weekend I need your help. I need a race Honcho by next weekend.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

you already have one. you have leaf springs, shock absorbers and bumpstops are not required.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I went down town tonight to meet a friend for dinner, and about 10 minutes after I parked, I had a note on my windshield "Great Jeep, if its ever for sale, I'm interested."

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Mark got my note!!!

Actually, Mark - saw you wanted to put Bill's jeep's drivetrain and stuff into Rob's jeep... if you want to do that over a weekend sometime let me know. We can do the usual "push jeeps onto Ken's porch and swear at things", and I will help you swap interior parts at the same time if you so desire.

If you do that this weekend make sure you keep the old oilpan in good shape when you pull it out you might want it for going back it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm off Thursday Friday as well.

What do you have left to do carmelo?

What I would like to get done over the weekend is the front suspension. It's going to be the most involved project i'll have to undertake. Adam should be available one day this weekend to so I'd like to bang out as much as I can. The slider boxes should be here tomorrow or thursday I'm guessing.
