I just heard two guys talking and saying something about the building I'm in being a "shock proof building" and I had no clue if they were just joking or not (but I wouldn't be surprised if it was with how serious this site is). Just heard someone else who came in talking about how "the car was shaking back and forth" though no one in my office felt anything. Weird. Wonder if this building does have some crazy shock proofing system. :dunno:

Edit: Aaand my cell just went down (data and all).

it was felt rom dc all up the east coast. we are overdue for one they have been saying for a billiondy years

Yeah, I have been hearing that we are long overdue, particularly heard that we are overdue up here in the northeast (or maybe that info I heard was just focused on the northeast since it was from a teacher up in this area).

I believe that. I never experienced anything like this. Wonder if there will be any localised aftershocks.

Epicenter was Richmond VA?

Cell is back up here

I was wondering about the aftershocks as well (or if there may be another quake further north/south from the original epicenter).

I heard the epicenter was northwest of Richmond but only like 30 miles out of the city IIRC.

And my cell is back up but I have no service (have 0 bars, usually have ~5 bars, currently going in and out of roaming if I have any service at all, just went back to no service)

I've heard that too.

The other thing I've heard is that a quake with a small amount of energy will be felt more widely on the east coast vs the west coast. The ground is a lot softer over than and absorbs the vibrations whereas here, the ground is mostly hard rock.

A fyi bout fuel pumps all obd 1 years will work cept that if you put a 91-93 pump into a 94 95 the gas gauge will read backwars and vice versa I've had a 93 and 92 pump in my 95 with only gas gauge issues

I never had that problem.

What I found was that the pump themselves were two different sizes.

I mixed and match them throughout the years without a problem. I think all I did was trim a rubber hose or something.

If you run a renix sending unit in an OBD1 tank or the other way around it will read backwards.

Stupid ebrakes. Got both sides of the 8.8 done without pulling the shafts. Then I realized the lever that the PS cable goes to and pivots thru the backing plate is seized and wont pivot. PS shoes in turn wont seat all the way and wont work :doh:

Haha, I already talked to him. He called me and was like I forgot I gotta to some party tonight. Hes gunna try for tomorrow if hes in the area or thursday night Ill come over your house.
