Yeah I've had them for a hair less than three years. Woulda been a full three the second week of October. Being a senior in Highschool with braces was kinda lame but I didn't have any friends or talk to anyone so it wasn't a problem for me.

Alright, more annoying issues with the Briarwood. (apparently a lot of stuff has been happening to it lately)

I've noticed for a couple months, its been a little harder to start it. It usually takes a few extra cranks to start it each morning. There are a few times that after driving it, I stop say at a store or something, then go to get back in it and it takes a while to start, or it goes to start, but its really rough like it is about to die (and in fact it has died in those situations a few times).

I saw something somewhere that said longer to start could be a bad check valve in fuel pump assembly. What do you guys think?

Prime the fuel pump a few times. If it starts right up then you're losing fuel pressure from sitting. If it does the same thing then it's not the fuel pump.

Let it crank for a second, let off the key and then crank it again. If I do that mine starts right up. But I'm lazy so I just let it crank for a while. I do want to try the check valve, I think I read somewhere that a BMW 5 series was a good addition.

If it is the fuel pump, then Ross you are giving me that '91 fuel assy you picked up off Sam. Its fair, considering I have a '91, and you don't... :D.!.

I'm seriously thinking about throwing the drive train from Bill's Jeep in Rob's Jeep and using that for the winter.

i was purposely not invited to go wheeling at rc with all my friends because her boyfriend doesnt trust her and he has a problem with me because of it.

she said she wants me to go but doesnt want any drama.

i dont bring the drama, the boyfriend does.

not my problem, i'll go if i want to right?

well if i go then her trip is ruined and she will stay home instead.

and thats just the tip of the iceberg this time around...

I got a new, non dented tank and that pump going into red jeep to replace the damage I did at NACfest. My pump has also become a little louder it seems.

that pump will only work from 91-93 or 94

Go without telling anyone, knock him out, and nail her in your Jeep. After you finish say "Kay, I'm done. You can go." She should stop talking to you after that.

Is the battery new/strong? I have had my Jeep take longer to start and stumble a bit when it needed a new battery. Then the winter hit and it went from taking longer than 'normal' to start to just not starting at all. I second the recommendation to prime the fuel pump a few times before starting and see if that helps.

And regarding women. :dunno: up to you dude. Idk what to tell you. I would say that you should just go if you want.

Just talked to the auto shop. Bringing the car back in to get it checked out for the left hand pull on Monday. Over the course of today my plans went from running errands in the morning and relaxing/getting shit done in the afternoon to errands all day. At least I'm not so disappointed about the potential rain anymore.
