Ya, but the city definitely has its pluses (as well as its minuses), and I definitely want to get off the cape since its so boring and not what I want right now. I liked living in Boston when I was up there, and definitely want to stay around there. Not saying I won't be in a suburb around Boston since I haven't started looking or seeing what friends are up to, but since the job is in Waltham, then will be moving to Newton end of the year, I kind of need to be around there.

Sounds like good gig, and the city isn't totally crappy. Plenty of stuff to do at all hours of the night when everyone else is sitting at their keyboards or bored out of their minds with no projects.

Gonna be a fun commute though

So i got into work today to find out the Kenworth we just had painted got rolled on it side last night in PA... Took the roll well and only had cosmetic damage and was able to make it home from Philly.

I beg to differ. I think I've owned more and I'm picking up another 01' tomorrow.

Only problem I've had with my 00' DD Bill is a blown head gasket 2 1/2 yrs ago and it was my fault. I've driven with it that way up until recently and it's finally getting replaced this week. Other then that not a big deal. I have plenty of spare parts though in case.

Alright, I hope everything works out with our new '00. They are right above, you've owned and/or parted more XJs than all of us combined. :laugh:

Thanks for answering my call. I needed someone to slap me back to reality with all the minor things I was trying to find wrong with it.


'00, 104K miles, needs oil filter adapter oil rings, needs surp belt, needs brakes (have + rear discs), needs tires, needs exhaust (have), needs a taillight (have). I'm also going to do a waterpump, tstat, spark plugs, and other usual tune up stuff to be on the safe side. Seems to run great (not even any lifter noise 80% of I6s have), tcase shifter is a bit stiff and my bet is it hasn't or rarely left 2wd. Some lube and it should be good to go. Hopefully we made a good purchase.


I won't be listing anything from the '99 for sale for at least 2 weeks, but keep in mind I have that and it will be parted out. I am going to be keeping a lot though.

Haha. Yeah.

They are going to recharge the A/C, detail it, and remove the couple of "The driver of this vehicle ran up Mt. Washington" stickers. Picking it up tomorrow.

Just got back from a ride in my brothers car. Either his CV shaft or bearing is toast. I'm strongly leaning towards bearing but I have yet to throw it on a jack and check it out. I can only assume I know what I will be doing this weekend.

both of my buddies are selling their cummins... both 2nd gen, regular cab long beds autos.

good amount of mods, fast truck, but reliable as hell, loaded SLT. he wants $11500.

kenny says he'll sell his for $10500 but idk if hes as serious.

good amount of mods, fast truck, but reliable as hell, loaded SLT. he wants $11500.

Too bad they're autos, I really want a RCLB but not fawking around 5/6 spd for me please. Ive been eyeing this one, its looks purdy.
