Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Thanks dude, I didn't know it was called a washer. Knew either you or Jeff would pop up on that.

Ya the last time I took off the yoke to check the leak, I used some RTV on it, but it appears it was too chewed up and didn't work.

Those seals are only $1 if you ever need one. In stock, and at Adam's warehouse, 50,000 AVAILABLE. haha

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Why did someone have to schedule at 4:00 meeting this afternoon? It's XXXXing Friday.

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I don't think I will ever get around to doing my frame stiffeners. Every time I step foot in my garage someone calls/needs me.

its a waste of time anyway unless you cage it at the same time imo

Re: The NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

task killers are dumb and arent needed. root your phone, delete the bloatware apps. if i dont do much on my phone i can do 2 days without a charge
i need to do this asap. is there anything that you can mess up while rooting?
I charge my phone maybe twice a week.
my old blackberry would go 2 days without a charge, now my droid 2 battery SUCKS!!

on a further note finally got in contact with that verizon store, they said there very interested in getting me up there for an interview, had me answer a few questions over the phone and said they would be in contact to set something up. keeping my fingers crossed

not really, most phones are one-click rootable. google your phone+root and youll find an apk to download. run it, and viola. then you can download a file explorer and start deleting bloatware. its pretty easy, you can learn 90% of it all online on android forums just by searching. the damaging stuff comes when you start programming it yourself and eff it up lol. look into putting cyanogen on your droid, its awesome.

and nice! good luck dude. and i'll be hitting you up for phone discounts if you get it lol

Maybe I'll look into that this weekend. This task killer seems to be working really well though. I know it's not the right way or the best way, but it is working very well...

depends on your carrier. i'm waiting for the samsung galaxy s II to come out on verizon.. i forgot what theyre naming it. if i was to get one today, it would be the samsung charge.

its just killing bloatware apps, so it kinda does the same thing.

I'm really liking my Samsung Epic (which is one of sprint's offerings from the samsung galaxy line). Not sure what Verizon's galaxy is named.

i got verizon, why would you get the charge over the thunderbolt. I thought the thunderbolt was the best. Is it all opinion. Im going to be stuck with this phone for 2 years i dont want to get a POS like i did with the last one.

thunderbolt has had some LTE issues and the battery sucks. youll get 1.5-2 days of use out of the charge right out of the box.

The only thing I don't like about my phone (thunderbolt) is the battery life. That's my only complaint whatsoever. But, I may have just fixed it.

I've never had issues with that, but I've only used the 4G LTE a few times. The charge wasn't getting great reviews either from what I heard...

yeah i just read one on pcworld:

Since the Charge is the second LTE phone to hit the market in the United States, however, it must be measured against the first LTE phone, the ThunderBolt. And here the Charge comes up short. The ThunderBolt’s display may not look quite as beautiful as the Charge’s, but its connection speeds are the same or a little faster, its battery appears to be a little better, its physical design is smaller and more elegant, and its user interface provides a more orderly and pleasing environment to work in. In short, if I were choosing between the two Verizon LTE phones, I could choose the one that costs $50 less and still walk out with the better of the two phones.
