Serious question: Does anyone have any idea what the seal/gasket is called that seals the splines on the output of the transfercase? I looked under my Jeep today and my 241OR is pretty much pissing itself, the fluid is coming out of the output shaft splines. I searched but couldn't find any info on this seal.

its a rubber washer thing a ma jig that goes behind the nut itsd also good to use rtv on the splines themselfs

When I was texting her making plans for the night I was joking when I said "or we could get you riding gear and you could hop on the back of the bike" after she mentioned taking her car to go out... err well... I considered it a joke since I assumed that she would have NO interest at all in doing so and I figured my suspicions were confirmed when she completely ignored that text.

Imagine my surprise when she brought it up the next day while driving in the Jeep and almost sounded interested. It was at that time that I realized that it may get expensive since I would have to buy at least a helmet and jacket for her if not more gear.

I'm going to be picking up a generic jacket and helmet in the near future for use by passengers. Trying to keep it under $200 but that's going to be hard to do I fear.

I think a Miata might weigh too much for that engine unless you put that into a stripped down NA Miata. That would be cool, I totally agree.

I think a Miata might weigh too much for that engine unless you put that into a stripped down NA Miata. That would be cool, I totally agree.

400 HP & 245 ft. lbs. of torque will scoot a fully suited Miata down the road pretty nicely...

I guess it's hard to argue that point as they come with less power than that and they're still zippy. But imagine how ridiculous a stripped down one would be? I bet you could approach the power to weight ratio of a sport bike.

just ok. not bad, but not as good as I thought it would be. it's basically a coolatta with hershey's syrup in it (which sounds good but was just ok). as fem as this sounds, the McDonald's frappé is way better and $1 less.
