Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i picked this jeep up a week ago for $3000, needed nothing, turn key,1997, 130k, 5 speed, clean. overhead console, heated mirrors, power everything, infintity sound package. not a speck of rust. I was loooking for a good 4-5 months for something with little to no rust. Came with recipts for a lot of things, new alternator, PS pump, battery, clutch, slave.

so i got 2 brand new bilsteins for $56, thanks to that gift cert i won. also got a carrier, 4.56's, hubs, and outer shafts for my 44 for $80. not a bad day for some deals.

You should bring the foosball table to NACfest.

That would be AMAZING.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Bob, I ended up going for a very short ride on Sunday. Sorry I didn't call... We got rained on a little and didn't want to head west of Worcester because of the weather. Was it raining for you?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

It's funny reading build threads about vehicles that I don't know much about, and seeing what other enthusiasts consider big projects or out-of-the-box builds.

I read through a few Explorer builds to start getting an idea of what people do with the front ends as far as trussing, long travel, etc. Seems pretty easy to get to the 14"ish travel I want. Often it seems like the limiting factor is tire clearance to the fenders/bumper/wheelwell.

I'm thinking that I'm gonna try to avoid posting on Explorer forums. I'm not sure my project would go over too well. In more than a few threads, replacing the frame-side radius arm bushings with heims or uniballs is a *big deal*.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Why does it keep feeling like today should be Thursday :(
If you're going to skip towards the end of the week, go for Gold and make it Friday.

No, it doesn't feel like a Friday. Feels like I should be at work tomorrow but not the rest of the week.

Maybe I will open my bottle of the Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix tonight to help pass the time :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
