In what way do you think you're getting an accurate reading then?
At this point I think you are arguing with a brick wall.but, is some dude in the iron rock thread seriously trying to tell me that upper control arms do nothing to keep your axle in place?

Yeah. I wasn't saying I'd want a digital one with the tones. I like the 'click, click' feeling. Plus I'd be that guy that doesn't have batteries for the digital one when I really needed it. I'm not really a fan of any of the digital devices unless it is the only option. I'm in the school of thought that if you can't read / function the non-digital version you shouldn't be using it anyway (maybe that applies more to micrometers and verniers though).we have a digital snap on torque wrench i use at work.
