I have at least 5 different helmets in my garage, all different sizes. My whole family had 4 wheelers.

Plus I got a fat head for my size. Full of air I think because there sure aint a lot of thoughts up there.

I don't know their rules but I would guess they require Snell and DOT approved helmets. I'd check yours to make sure. I only ever bought one that wasn't Snell approved, and it broke when I crashed. Wont do that again.

Line Mountain doesn't require a firesuit, just a long-sleeve shirt.

I guess there was a guy in street clothes walking around with a rifle in the mall or something. Other than the fact that it's illegal, I don't care as long as he doesn't shoot anybody. People in our parents' generation used to bring the .22's to school to do target practice afterwards...

I just wouldn't want to be involved in any way. Could be a big headache.

Yeah, those guys are insane. Wait til you get to a race on their home turf where you're racing against 60+ of those things at the same time.

There was one point in our second lap where I let that guy pass me (think it was him, was there a little blue one too?) and then tried to keep up for a while. That was another good 3rd gear powerslide/4th gear/5th gear/eyes wide shut moment I hope is on the video.

I'm pretty sure it was just the new air cleaner, but my truck *really* felt like it wanted to run and run hard that day. :laugh:

I can't see it either. I'd need "a bit" of tuning on the shocks before I even attempted it. That being said, it probably ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

You could do it with yours, but I agree with Chris it's still pretty.

I think one of the biggest barriers of entry for you guys is gonna be glass.

Line Mountain lets you keep a glass windshield, if you really want to, but everything else has to be gone. Not just rolled down, but removed from the truck.

It doesn't look like RC has any language in their rules regarding it, but I've never seen anyone start a race at RC with any glass on the truck.

As bad as last weekend was with visibility, it would have been 10x worse with a windshield. My opinion? You guys need to pull the string out and ditch the damn thing already. I don't even miss it trail riding one bit.

I'm fine with that. My windshield is caked with grinding dust anyway

Oh, and Chris. Can I seriously claim a spot in your next race? Preferably sometime right after NACfest since I can't afford to give up any weekends yet. I really want to get a feel for it so I know what I'm signing up for (not that I'll be backing out ).

Is the next Line Mtn one in July or something? I would be 100% willing to drive down to your place or something.

Lol. I just hope some of the 'fast' parts made it on there...

a few good ones. unfortunately ran out of memory by the end of the first lap

thing was probably useless after that though bc it was REALLY muddy. next race i'll get a 16gb.. anymore than that is useless bc the battery only lasts 2.5 hours. i got about an hour and 15 minutes of video total.
