THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

As you just pointed out GSD is a pace.

It's not just a pace, it's a sacrifice.

The inside of my jeep looks like an elephant hovered its ass over my missing windshield and let loose a massive diarrhea dump. There are many more things I'd rather do on a nice warm afternoon than dig a broken transfer case out of that mess.

But it's not going to fix itself, no one else is going to do it for me, and I want to have the jeep working again. So I'm gonna GSD to make that happen.

Of course Colin and I are kings among men. We invented the phrase. :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

They look just like the shaft bumps I have on my shocks, that I blew up another one of this weekend.

Thanks for the reminder, forgot to put that on the list...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

XXXX I want to go work on my MJ even though I'm exhausted.

I think I'm taking off the 29th and the 2nd to have a 4 day weekend. i need to get tires for my truck and new glasses, as well as hit the junkyard and get a hydroboost booster. That'll eat up a day itself.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

nice new avatar :)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Shit, I need to take the 29th off as well. Last I heard we got my buddy's bachelor party in Boston on the 28th but I haven't talked to anyone about it since a month ago. Will have to get in touch with people and figure out what the hell is going on.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

well my pops just called, got $27 back for taxes this year.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Oh also, I dropped a can of cutting fluid on my scrap metal pile and it exploded all over the wall so I had to clean that up.

It DID finally force me to clean up that area though, so I organized all the scrap metal I have into flat plate, round tubing, square tubing, and weld washers.

Weld washers are awesome for capping tubes, which is exactly what I used for the bumpstop extensions. They are also already pre-pilot drilled right in the center

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

WTF. Since when do I have to pay to get checks for my own checking account?

Even the most basic ones are like $20 + shipping for 100 of 'em. What crap.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That's really high. I've had to buy my last few sets of checks, though.

I got my last set through Current. Something like $8 for 200 patriotic ones.

edit: Not these, but something like it.

I'm gonna stop by the bank and see what they can do, rather than go through the website. That just seems stupid.

Side note - anyone have an XJ fuse box lid laying around? Mine's gone, and the one on my parts XJ is gone too. :|

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have been with a couple banks and all of them wanted to charge me for checks. Some of them said "your first box of checks is free" when I started the account but others have charged me for all checks that I received.

I don't use checks too frequently and a box lasts me a couple years so I really don't waste my time arguing for free checks; I figure I average somewhere between 2-5 checks per month (usually 2-3) so 100 checks will last me a hell-of-a long time.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

:woohoo: High steer arms just showed up, theyre fancy. Now I gotta decide if I wanna spend the nice afternoon pulling the knuckles and putting them on or making frameside 3 link mounts.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I use maybe a few a month at most as well - all the more reason why I'm bitter about paying for them.

Anyone know the difference between a standard XJ water pump and the 'severe/extra duty' model? Both Napa and RockAuto have listings for both...

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
