Speaking of backpacking and purpose etc... i bought myself a pair of asolo fugitive gtx boots from rei last night. I tried on a ton of different boots, but these just fit friggin amazing. With discounts and my dividend i saved like $65 so im happy

too bad rei will take your money and use it to close trails.. theyre a huge supporter of ending ohv access.

And Adam...70% chance of thunderstorms for this saturday. Glad I just got a drycharger cover for my new K&N air filter...

That's when I'm taking my vacation.

Well by 'vacation' I mean I am taking a couple days the 2nd to last week of June (folks will be in Florida for a week) and a couple days the week of the 4th of July (folks will be on the Cape for a week) and I get the house to myself both weeks. :thumbup: Y'all are welcome to stop by for bbq, pool, beer, buff chicken, etc

I think I'm installing a window AC in our garage so I can work on shit in reasonable comfort rather than dying of heat within 30 minutes of drilling/grinding/welding like I did last year :laugh: Maybe I should just hit the gym and stop being fat instead

I have super old and really dry rotted BFG A/T's. I'm tempted to do a huge burnout up my driveway and pop them.

I was talking to Scotty about them for a while last night. I'd either get a 450-500cc 4 stroke or a 250cc 2 stroke. A KTM seems ideal, but they're expensive.

I won't do it. In fact, I can nearly guarantee that I won't buy one this year. Gotta pay off all the other dumb stuff before I can think about acquiring another toy. I shouldn't even be buying Jeep parts, some of them have just been too good of deals to pass up.

I'll be staying at the park, we've got plenty of enclosed things to spend time in.

And I'll probably end up taking a 50-mile-long shower the way things are looking. :gag:

Oh well...3 weeks ago it was 12 degrees and windy as hell. Literally had mud spray freezing on my goggles instantly. Whatcha gonna do. This ain't a fairweather sport.
