THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

And I agree... that's not a dirt bike. Supermoto yes, dirtbike no.

However is it a dirtbike with street wheels/tires? more or less yes... but throwing offroad wheels/tires on it may require quite a bit of work

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Maybe it is me that is confused here, but I don't consider that a dirt bike. That is more of a ROAD bike that can see a dirt road for a few miles, IMO. My 1st thought of a dirt bike is something like this:

Ahh, I didn't realise you could ride self-propelled vehicles in that state forest area.

I know that. :D

:D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm not sure on the rules at other SFs, but I know it's legal to ride there as long as the bike is either streetable or has a ATV plate. They might have laws against quads, but don't quote me on that.

May want to check this out for MA trails

Not sure how current that site is but IIRC it had some good info... I haven't really looked at it in ages though. There are a number of trails that are dirtbike only I think.

Edit: Just looked at a couple trails and it seems like it was updated fairly recently.. see some "spring 2011" updates.

Thanks for the link. I'm looking.

I'd prefer to think that Anthony actually has a shit-ton of wooden rolling pins stashed away somewhere.

Thinking of a pile of shocks & bumps sitting idle for the next two years is much more disturbing.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

LOOK AT THE HANDLE ON THAT ONE!!!!!

Not only this, but I was honestly trying to imagine a) the amount of rolling pins you'd have to sell to get money for a dirt bike, b) how valuable could a single rolling pin possibly be, and c) is there actually a collector's market for rolling pins.

Yes, I'm XXXXed in the head enough that I will never underestimate someone's capability to have more weird interests than I do.

Which one? I can't tell. Point to it!

Vises weren't good enough for you?

There, I said it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Hey, I was actually giving you the benefit of the doubt. I don't know anybody who has a rolling pin collection.
Me neither

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Times three... its gon be a grad old time

It's going to be fun as shit, right up to the moment when something happens during the race and I actually have to get out of the jeep and work on something. That's when the rain/mud/cold truly begins to suck. I should probably find/buy a new pair of gloves a little better suited for wet & cold...I'd rather not wear my good ski gloves again like I did a few weeks ago.

I'll just drive the balls off the thing and try and get it over with as quickly as possible, lol. 'Cause that always works. :rof:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Well thats unfortunate, i really like the store

yea i was pissed when i found that out

Adam and Chris you guys camping regaurdless of weather? If you need a shower you can borrow mine at the hotel

I'll be staying at the park, we've got plenty of enclosed things to spend time in.

And I'll probably end up taking a 50-mile-long shower the way things are looking. :gag:

^^that

I still don't get why its so cool to be retarded and call parts by a completely different part. Rolling pins or wonton soup or "achetoothe" and "dirty stephens."

Mark, that Mini is what I want or the 527 version of it. I've got an SOG (Chinese, I know
icon9.gif
, but I got it for free for filling out a survey) that works for now though. I can't spend $90-110 on a pocket version.

I read what was in blue, and got really really confused. I was like, Bill wants a Mini Cooper, what? Granted I just woke up, but I was thoroughly confused by that, because I also didn't remember talking about Minis for a while.

Its an awesome knife, but like we had talked about a few days ago with keeping tools nice, I'm always afraid to use the knife in fear of dulling it. I do know that Benchmade has a Life Sharp program, where I guess they will return the blade to factory sharpness for like $5, so I should start using it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

has anyone ever heard of Trail Tech Fab? He's a vender on pirate from CT. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/member.php?u=31320 He'll turn down my DRW Chevy hubs to SRW for $125. I can't find anywhere else that does it for close to that cheap.
Do you know Mike Belben? Price is a little higher, but he's way closer to you.

His wife just gave birth to their daughter less than a month ago, so I'm not sure how much spare time he has right now, but it'd be worth a phone call.

It looks like all he does is just chop off the top mating surface, and clean up the OD of the hub?
