THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I don't know why you did, but I was running TNT arms.

Of course I was going to go through them (radius arms = binding).

As soon as I went to a hard joint there (read HP44 swap - JJs) there was obviously no more UCA bushing ownage.

I think all the bind went to the RE bushings at the LCA axle end after that. Those were toast when I pulled the kit to sell it.
Those were the only soft joints in my front suspension. And with the factory short arm/panhard setup, there's bind. So maybe they got eaten because they had to deal with all of the bind that normally would go other places?

Either way, I'm looking forward to no bind in the future.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

could anyone use some 16" rollers that will pass inspection?

i have 2 235/70r16's with maybe 35% tread left

Yeah true good point. I'd bet that's what was going on with yours.

Me too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I dunno when everyone else is starting but I'm gonna be awake at the asscrack of dawn if things go as planned.

You planning on tossing axles/springs under it tomorrow and hauling it onto a trailer or should I get a couple cement blocks so we can leave it on the porch till you're ready? I really don't give a shit either way, it can sit on the porch for at least a month or so before it starts to be a problem.

I have a rear axle with my leafs that i'm going to put under it and i'm trying to piece together stock stuff for the front. I'll bring both axles with me. Do you need my engine hoist? Not sure what time i'll be there yet, but i'll let you know

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Still no word on whether or not I'm working next week. Hell, I could go for a couple days off... Just not too long.

I would be 100% fine with a week or two off.

Just paid off car insurance for the rest of the year, owe nothing on my CTD, paid electricity for the next month (I help with that...that's about it lol), cable, cell phone, etc. as well as my student loan and have plenty saved.

I could get so much MJ work done.

Yeah, my car ins for the year is paid too. Everything is paid at least a month ahead except rent.

The only upcoming thing I have that I wouldn't be able to afford out of pocket is rent.

Like I said, I could afford a week. 2 weeks and I'd be hurting for $.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yeah that could suck.

We'll see what happens. They sent out an email here just saying they would communicate what would happen if it did go through. I'd imagine anyone working a DoD contact would either be in the same position, or end up having to take PTO or something.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I could sell my rolling pin collection but I'd really really prefer not to. That will be a last ditch effort.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

:( I'm probably worrying about it too much.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Onto the two-piece poly trackbar bushing now.

My boss loves the fact that I solved the bushing issue with a part that costs $10. He doesn't give a shit where it's from.
