THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I wouldn't run the setup again. There was minimal gain over a mechanical fan.

As far as I'm concerned, the gain is that you don't have a mechanical fan anymore. I like having that space in the engine compartment. When the motor mount ripped out of my stock engine, the fan ate shit into the radiator, winch, and coolant overflow line.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I should have worded my post differently.

The setup that I ran sucked. I should have kept the mechanical fan. Two stock e-fans didn't cool my engine sufficiently.

I would run the DirtBound kit, but I already have a new fan clutch. Don't need to upgrade the cooling system just yet.

II should have kept the mechanical fan. Two stock e-fans didn't cool my engine sufficiently.

Huh, weird. :wierd:

I've ran that same setup for well over a year with the stroker, including at the Hammers, and never had an issue.

*issue = truck shutting off. My temp gauge rarely works because the plug is bad, so I just disregard it. The auto shutdown will kick in if it gets too hot.

(it hasn't yet)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I had triple fans way before dirtbound, it keeps the jeep temp happy. Someday ill add a csf 3 row and life will be even better. Ditching the a/c condessor will be nice too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I just pulled the trigger on the TNT long arms / bellypan. Hopefully it'll be here right around the time that my Jeep is ready for putting in the suspension, so I only have to put it together once!

expensiveeeee day

Haha why do you think I DD my XJ for 2 years? You've also ridden in mine before. I had the exact same setup as him.

He asked me a bunch about my setup at the last UJ M&G. His is pretty much exactly how mine was.

I had 5.5" RE coils, Bilstein 5150s, TNT longarms, rear 3.5" REs, edelbrock IAS, TNT 1.5" shackles. The rear sat a tad lower than the front but still rode nice.

EDIT: This was right after throwing the 35s on.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I think I might go to bed for the night in about 5 minutes.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

just picked up a 9ft piece of 2x2x.125 box tube for my rockers, it will be good enough, if not everyone can laugh at me

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I disagree. My 3/4 ratchet is stiffer and longer than my 1/2" drive breaker bar and it ratchets.
You clearly have a shitty breaker bar, but I will agree with you to a point.
When going for 1/2" drive, I usually just grab my ratchet. Its the same length as my breaker bar, and can handle anything I throw at it. If I need to add a cheater pipe, then I grab the impact.
But the tools we are talking about are miles apart in quality. I would grab my 1/4 drive snap-on before a 1/2 drive crapsman, it can take more torque.
California's gun control laws need to be stricter to prevent things like this.
You sure that's in california? There was no mention of the security guard being arrested for murder, and no contact info to send money for the poor thief's medical/funeral expenses.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Rapid Fire Answers... Kevlars or Cooper STTs? Im purchasing tonight and I would like opinions from people who actual wheel them.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Only thing I can say is the STT's are great on the plow trucks
