Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread
Off the top of my head -
* full sets of SAE and metric gearwrenches
* full set of SAE flare wrenches
* steering wheel puller
* pitman arm puller
* full set of screwdrivers
* custom made LDS-465 driver side head bolt wrench (long offset 7/8" box, 1/2" drive) - this is only in there so I don't lose it
* IR231
* full set of SAE and metric box wrenches
* 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 ratchets, 1/2 breaker bar
* 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 extensions
* full set of SAE and metric 12 point shallow sockets
* full set SAE deep impacts, full set metric shallow impacts
* a few vise grips, pliers, channel locks, lineman's pliers
* 1/4" hex screwdriver with full tamperproof bit selection
* E-5 through E-huge inverse torx
* tiny through 1/2" SAE deep 12 point sockets, 1/4 drive
* 6 point 5/16" 1/4 drive socket for u-joint straps
* T8 through T-huge torx
* flaring kit, tube cutter
* 30 and 36mm sockets
* big ass pipe wrench
* BFH
* 10-20 sawzall blades, cordless sawzall, 2 batteries
There's a few more piles of stuff that I don't bother to bring with me everywhere. This kind of ridiculous preparedness/tool and part carrying is why I was able to drive my XJ home the same night it got its steering box ripped off, and I now carry spare bolts for that :roflmao:
It's all the stuff I really use. There is more obviously, but I don't use it frequently. That's not including any power tools (aside from the impact) or any of the woodworking + electronics stuff, just the bolt turners basically.I couldn't carry all of the hand tools I own at once, much less fit them all in one carry size box.
Discussions have been started with our friend at Lista about rectifying the storage situation of my tools![]()
