I also remember having not met the majority of the people in this thread. It happened a month later at that first Jan M&G.

Rob admitted he thought I was mall crawler with my super clean XJ decked out with bolt-ons and BFG A/Ts.

Until I flew up the first hill after the ledge on the rev limiter.

Ya, half the people weren't in here that are now, and I didn't know a lot of them. I think I had only met you, Adam, Jeff, Carmelo and Billy before that M&G.

If it's mint and he'll maybe come down on the price a bit, I'd be really interested in it. 2wd is unfortunate but livable for me. and I'd swap the trans of course

I'm sorry, but I just find that a little ridiculous. Why do you need to swap the trans, do you really have that much of a hard on that you can't sanely drive an auto?

That was my other thought, what's it take to do a manual swap? Its 2wd so there should be less things to worry about right? Ie; t-case, linkages, driveshaft, etc?

On Jeeps, yes. On everything else, especially where they have paid someone to do the work, no. They believe that all labor is included as a "modification" and therefore put all that money as well as the money for the parts in the asking price, since they believe its worth more now.

I crack up every time I see some idiot posting a vehicle they have "invested" x dollars in. How's that investment going for ya?

Heh, Enrish is a funny language.

A friend of mine told the joke 'Why is 6 afraid of 7?' (because 7 8 9) to his Chinese friends while studying abroad in China and from the sounds of it and they reacted like it was the funniest thing they'd ever heard.

He had the perfect audience, chinese is very heavy on the puns because of the language structure. There are like 9 intonations per word and they make the word very different depending on which you use. Most nicknames are chosen by keeping the word the same but changing the intonation to make it mean something else, lucky number 8 and unlucky number 4 are that way for similar reasons iirc. It is a very pun friendly language (and very pun-friendly to those trying to learn it... sorry pun haters I had to.)

Probably similar to doing a swap on an XJ:

Trans (including clutch, throwout bearing, pressure plate, flywheel, pilot bearing, all hydraulics)
pedal assembly
shifter
driveshaft
ECU if you don't want a check engine I'd bet

Can't think of much else.

Ya, I forgot Carmelo in that list.

I believe I met Jeff first, I met up to buy a stock bumper off him, and I think he even join CCJC's forum for a little bit.

I then met Carmelo, I bought the ARB off him. Then I met Billy, I bought an axle off him, and that one single rocker guard I have on the green Jeep is from him.

Then one day I got a random PM from Jeff saying he just started working at Crown, and I should stop by sometime. I was like eh, I guess so, I drive right past it.

That is when I met you and Adam, on separate occasions.

i first met Billy we had a mabell/gutter trip, then it was Anthony on a OFR trip, he was on 31's other 2 kids were being babies on 33's and didnt want o do OFR just wanted to go muddin so no wheelin for us, then i met Adam Colin Ross and i think Carmelo at the food drive, after that i met the rest of you tards at the M&G

He was picking up a header panel or something and was driving the MJ that I now own.

I realized when I got home that he was ktm racer on here.
