I only buy stock vehicles unless I know the owner. Simple things like exhaust or wheels don't matter because it's easy to fix or see how dumb they are. But when I see a Jeep, CTD, or anything else with all this stuff done to it the first thing I think is, "What is wrong with it that they don't want to deal with it after spending all that money"

On Jeeps, yes. On everything else, especially where they have paid someone to do the work, no. They believe that all labor is included as a "modification" and therefore put all that money as well as the money for the parts in the asking price, since they believe its worth more now.

I disagree partially. You'll see people that will try to sell things as though to get everything they put into it back but, like Jeeps, they'll never get their asking price. Both my SV650 and my VW had been modified and I got them both at below a reasonable price had they still been 100% stock. For the record, the SV has been nothing but perfect. The VW has had a couple issues that stem from it being modified.

Eh, I may look at it still I dunno

If it's mint and he'll maybe come down on the price a bit, I'd be really interested in it. 2wd is unfortunate but livable for me. and I'd swap the trans of course

Ya, it is weird it will be 3 years old. I remember I honored its 1 year birthday by doing the exact same thing I did on the night it was conceived. I sat around in my room, watched a movie, stayed up really late, and didn't study for my last final because I had just taken my 3 hardest finals, and was too burnt out to study for the last.
