Exactly! I don't know why he is crying, plus you already volunteered yourself and Adam for the lame time consuming stuff.
His only holdup are those tube adapters.

I ran 16s on ford 1 ton brakes with no clearence issues. Sometimes the internet lies.

BLASPHEMY! The internet spews only truth.

Thanks dude. I think I should be able to get everything covered.

I'm mostly worried about getting parts in time, not so much about the actual work getting done.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Colin, just so you know, your build isn't about you anymore. Its about all of us.

If that MJ isn't at NACFest, you don't fail ............ EVERYONE fails.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Weird. I remember that you had a huge issue with the front output dropping out of gear with the JB whatseedoozee setup and that the problem was that they didn't have the little bump in the gear... What are you running for outputs right now in your D300?

STaK 32-spline rear output, stock front output. The front output bearing feels mint ever since I changed back to the double-cardan joint.

electric space heater? you don't seem like the type that'd do that.

oh I know. Dehumidifier in the basement.

Humidifier? Sump pump? Neighbor stealing power?

Honestly I have no idea. I don't think I did anything different over the last month that I haven't done in the 2 years I've been living there. And I have no neighbors.

Heat & water heater are both gas. I've used the slow cooker for 30 hours, and I've plugged the truck in most nights when it's been below 35-40 degrees, but that's about it. I didn't see the same spike the month before when I was making chili and plugging the truck in even more often.

Weird.

Obviously, since we know you're not gonna work on your own shit. :D

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

All the welding and drilling you were doing on the trailer is at the shop right? Not your house?
That was too recent for it to be on his current bill, no matter where it was...

Hmmm. Got a partial short somewhere?

Was the previous months bill just estimated use? That could be and then all the extra usage would pile up to one month.

Happens often around these parts when the meter guys don't want to hustle in the snow and it is to far from the street to read.

Guess I never really looked. I have it set on autopay so I rarely give it more than a glance.

There are some oddball trends here.

02/15/2011 01/14 - 02/14 , 2011 $37.42 Estimated View Bill

03/22/2010 02/19 - 03/19 , 2010 $44.29 Actual View Bill

Hmm, I dunno. Just kinda interesting. Seems like sometimes estimated is very close, and sometimes it's completely off. I'd expect a spike in the summer from the A/C units but for it to jump that much in a single winter month is unusual.

No need for the meter techs to get out of their cars anymore, they just drive down your street and receive the info from the x-mitter built into your house meter.

I rented a garage for a while that had the meter INSIDE. That was great, we got an estimated bill every month for like $15 (they never came by to check the meter on the weekends, and couldn't upgrade it to the x-mitter style since we were rarely there during the week).

That is some funky usage Chris.

They've started that in this area as well, but the issue is most of the meters are to far from the road to read (ours is) so that have to get out and at least walk up the drive or the front yard. In VT is isn't uncommon for us to get Nov-March as estimated bills.
