Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I FOUND THE PROBLEM

Oh, shit, what?

Methinks there's some XXXXery afoot. Guess it's time for a wipe & fresh OS.

After killing that and killing/restarting explorer again, everything is back to normal. Except when I click on links and it automatically directs me elsewhere in Firefox, Chrome, and IE.

AVG found a few things, but I'm guessing I caught something. Dammit. First one in like 8 years.

I now have 3 comps that could use a new install. If I actually buy a copy of Windows 7, will it let me put it on more than one of my own personal machines?

No. Not legally.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

No. Not legally.

Well. Will it "let" me?

How fast does the serial number database update? What if I click 'register' on all 3 machines at the same time?

Linux is out, it's fun to play with, but last I tried it the hardware & software support wasn't quite where I needed it to be.

Granted, I think the last time I tried it was the first release of Redhat Fedora.

If I can run my USB digital audio interface, web cab, and Solidworks 2005 I'll give it a shot.

Win7 and Office 2k10 are instant. Once they are active they are used. You might get away with a re-install on the same hardware though (which is legal).

Ross you are next:

Bill has bipolar disease. Yesterday he wanted to buy me a beer, today he wants to throw a hammer at me. :dunno: Sorry I was busy working on my jeep, master :worship:

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

office 2k10 you can run with a bad serial number. been doing so on my parent's computer for a while now.. it says "HEY THIS IS AN ILLEGAL COPY!" you click ok and it works fine. win 7 you have 30 days til it goes into 'youre XXXXed' mode and wont let you go past boot.

ubuntu is XXXXing sick run that. support is fantastic.

Chris, are you running 16" rims?

Sam says yes.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Chris, what are you looking for in a Explorer? My buddy's little brother is going to be selling a running and driving 00/01 4x4 Eddie Bauer for $300. In Plaistow NH

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Are those the lift cylinders? You do realize you lift it, then rest it on safety stops before you get under it right? So...that picture really doesn't mean much. If the cylinder can lift it who cares how "beefy" it is?

Again...I'm not saying I disagree with you, it would just depend on the price difference. If it's over $1000...I'd rather spend that money elsewhere.

I missed the last one? :dunno: I'm slow today

I don't feel like reading through the whole thing but for you retards who haven't actually used lifts that much you're are both half right. If you put a truck that is to big for it on the lift it might lift it. Get stuck on the safety stops and if you haven't had this happen you will hate your life. The lift sometimes not be able to lift itself over the stop again and be stuck in the air. It will be super sketchy up there too.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So my buddy is chilling in one of the hospitals(wasn't told which) in Boston with a bleeding kidney. :thumbdn: And to top it all off, his 21st birthday is on the 26th.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Wow, that's crappy. Now you have to tell us the story of how it happened.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Thought I did already. But he went off a 20ft kicker at Waterville Valley today and looped out at the top and went head down mid air. No one saw the actual landing but after seeing his face and him complaining of abdominal pain, I assume he landed on his back and face down and folded. AFAIK he's not concussed, and is just real drugged up and tired/sore.

Conditions were not good and we had plenty of reason to not ride but we went against better judgment. First ride up the lift some girl was knocked out in the middle of a trail with people all around her and blood on the trail. It was real granulated top layer with ice underneath and it was REAL fast. Not at all how I was expecting to end off our season of riding.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Within the 5 hours I was in the waiting room there were 4 other people brought in by ambulance and 2 children brought in by parents from the same mountain. I'm glad I called it quits and sat in the waiting room for him even though they wouldn't let me in.
