THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Did you get your computer fixed? Starting in safe mode and system restore is probably your best bet.

Basically, hold f8 before Windows starts and it will bring you to a menu. Scroll up & down with the arrows and start it with no network connectivity. When it boots up, do a system restore.

Start > Help and Support > System restore (and pick a date, about a month ago). If I have to do it I go farther back than I know I need to. You never know when you got the virus and how long it lay dormant before it started attacking.

Cap and rotor are like $20 dippy. Start with something that makes sense.

I swear I have a similar conversation with our server a few times per week:

I hate "mobile enhanced" websites.

the freeeak guy on pirate seems to want to find every other excuse that his steering is bad except fix the already known problem of a sloppy box.

I don't get it.

Stinks about your basement and Jeepy troubles Ross.

I have never had a system restore work properly. Sure it restores some things, but it screws with others. Actually I turn that function off the second a fresh install is completed.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I have a good stock coil you can have for free, if you can sufficiently motivate me to dig it out of my parts drawer and mail it. That sounds like a lot of work.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Sure sounds like it. The pump at my old house used to clog with debris from the floor... I figure your basement is cleaner, but you might need to keep an eye on it. I had to clean mine out multiple times while the floor was leaking. Hope nothing important got ruined.

My basement is ancient. It was clean and clear, the float just got hung up on the side outer sign and didn't go up high enough to kick on. The furnace didn't come on so it should be go, the water just knocks out the pilot light on the hot water heater. Were experienced in flooding :dunce:

Living with this is the alternative... I agree, it doesn't work perfectly and seems to always take a little more rebuilding and virus/malware/spyware scanning.

:gee: It sucks to be accustomed to dealing with it, but if you know what to do it's not the end of the world.

What really sucked was one time mine flooded over a foot and there were some wires underwater and the dryer was buzzing. I'm fairly certain the water was electrified. (And it was really really cold too).

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I am, and I'm in classes 11:45 to at least 5. 6:40 if I choose to attend my last class, but that doesn't really happen all that much. (I already know SolidWorks so...)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I woke up.

Hopped in my CTD.

Drove it to work.

:dunno:
Same. I woke up, hopped in my xj that I beat within an inch of its life Saturday, started it, and drove it to work at 80mph. The check engine light turned back off.

Lockers, beefy axles, gears, and tires better than 33" allterrains are for suckers. I hope to be a sucker within a year.

I hate idiot web devs who set up mobile sites that suck. Stalkerbook's latest update broke the mobile page, its really annoying to use now.

I don't get it
a lot of sites will see you come in via any method (including, say, a link from another site to a specific article) and go OMG MOBILE BROWSER COOOOOOOL :dunce: and... send you to their main page, not the directly linked article or page.

I disable it too, it is one more spot for malware to hide and surprise me when I try to do a restore. I'd rather not have it at all. It usually breaks things anyways.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I'm going to look at this with Keith tomorrow. If body is all straight, I'd consider it as a donor body for the next Jeep. A lot of the '99 would go into, like engine/tranny/tcase.

If I like it, thinking about offering $400

How are you at making offers? This is a serious question, are you afraid to low ball the shit out of them? Because if you are, let me make a scene of how shitty it is and how it's not worth dick.
