THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So my plan for front bumpstops:

Extend bumpstop tower with some DOM

Use timbrens on the coil bucket.

Anyone opposed?

wait til foa does a 15% off sale

buy air bumps.

seriously. you are buying so much other cool stuff. why cant your bumps be cool? and you will probably get airbumps down the road anyway. do it once and do it awesome

i looked into timbrens a while back and ended up with prothanes

and prothanes were nice, until they exploded, which happened too soon

From everything I've read and experienced, having one of the bumpstop contact thingys a lot longer than the other often causes them to not meet evenly. (if the bottom has a 8" stack of hockey pucks or the top has a huge bit of DOM on it.

I like your idea with the DOM on the top, but I think I'd inside surface of the coil buckt only a couple inches then put the Timbren on top of that to make them meet more evenly and consistently.

If that gibberish doesn't make sense, give me a call.

I'd rather tie the bumps into a cage.

And I also won't have time to do that before NAC-fest.

I know what you're saying.

Hence why I want to add some to the bumpstop tower.

There are stock bumpstops that are progressive that will fit on their. If you ever plan on going to airbumps why waste your money on new bumps if you can get $5 junkyard bumps and swap them out everytime you annihilate them?

Then snag me some.

Why waste time putting in junk bumps if they're going to disintigrate within 5 minutes of me wheeling?

I would bet they would last nearly as long as new ones with the advantage of being a fraction of the price and be able to be swapped out with a quick tug. By the time you mess up one or two sets you'll probably be in a position to get airbumps. Thus, why I said if you ever plan on getting airbumps why put alot of thought and money into a temporary setup?
