THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I don't get it.

Adam wheeled before you knew what wheeling was...?
yes, but I was wheeling while he was sitting in a fancy chair.

Really, I'm just bored out of my skull in this damn meeting and talking shit... and Billy wins the who wheels most contest anyways.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

 Should be pretty sweet.

I don't care what you say, this still has bad news written all over it. :D

One of you will be right. :D

It might not end up being a D35 gearset at all. But at the very least, expect to see the TTB arm modified for carrier bearing cap girdles/load bolts and 30-spline minimum (calling Jantz Engineering about this next week), D44 knuckles/spindles/stubs, etc. I'd also like to see about getting RCV on board to do the center U-joint as a CV, which hasn't been done yet.

I just need to acquire a junk first-gen explorer somehow.

hey guys

let's make a list of all the possible tire, rim, lift, and gear combinations on an XJ!!!!

IT'LL BE AWESOME AND EVERYONE WILL USE IT ALL THE TIME

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i wouldnt do it with an xj seat. thats lame

wj leathery goodness or better.

i want one with a seatbelt for shenanigans

I have two mint saab seats and old computer power supplies that can deliver the 12v to make the heated seat thingies work. Free to anyone that will use them.

I JUST tore one apart and scrapped one of those

How much you looking to spend. The one I just junked would have been perfect for a project. Nice body, bunch of stuff wrong with but still ran and drove. If it was worth a few hundred I would have told my dad to keep it around.

That sounds too nice for my purposes. A non-running rotbox would be perfect. I just want the frame, front end, and rear axle...motor/trans/body/etc would all end up getting scrapped.

Other items to acquire include a YJ tub, later-model Ford AOD trans, and a 93-95 Taurus SHO.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I already have all the parts for my pie-in-the-sky build, aside from an AX5 I'll be getting at NACFest and possibly a 231 if an extra doesn't show up randomly sometime.

2.5 RENIX, AX5, 231, d30/d35, either my 33s or 35s, motorcycle shocks/springs, the old steering from my XJ when I put the Durango box in... and a few hundred bucks of poop pipe. Ohhhh yeah.
