THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

How are your discs up front? Mine are gross as hell (as in, so badly eroded on the inner face that there are huge rust patterns across the area the pad supposedly touches) and still stop my 3.55s/33s on a dime when I want them to.

Holy crap you're still rockin the single diaphgram booster?

My front's are mint, just the cheapest autozone pads.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Even the dirty POS has a dual diaphragm booster... fat lot of good it did me  the tires stopped, I didn't.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Unlike everyone else, that wasn't the first thing I did. And I don't think my rear shoes have ever touched the drums. It's pretty legit, I'm a fan.

Should result in some AWESOME burnouts.

Is that the collection of brake parts I sold you? I think I sold you the 95/96 brake booster and pedal setup, not sure, it was like a year ago lol

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If he doesn't I do. Mine makes funny hissing noises and it's worrying me (sounds like the pushrod seals are going bad), though it has never failed me.

At first when I rearended that guy on tuesday I thought it failed, but then I saw the 4 streaks of rubber on the road.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Eff it, Ken it's yours if you want if. I wont be making it down there for a while and even then it's going to sit in my garage until like a week before nacfest.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Finally got a chance to read that thread. Nice idea and good discussion.

I absolutely despise those shaft collars for that purpose though.

When I had the air bumps up front, I used a set of those around the tube to act as adjustable coil spacers. Never had an issue with them moving.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

What's better/easier install, WJ or 95/96 booster?
Yes.

Doesn't really matter. 95/96 your brake lines should bolt right up, so will everything else. You have the pedals and shit too right? Just bolt the whole thing right in, no pushrod worries at all. The biggest pain in the ass is the two stupid bolts at the top of the pedal bracket that hold it to another bracket up under the dash, unscrewing the lower half of the dash and dropping it down can help a bit, so can pulling the IP bezel.

WJ setup, you have to reflare some brake lines and crap, use the stack of washers or the 1/4" spacer from the 95/96 setup you have, and possibly modify the pushrod.

Doesn't matter to me.

I'll bring it to work with me one day when I remember.

I got it off a WJ that was at Carmelo's dad's shop.
How much you want for it?

Can I pay in hexagonal 1/32" wall DOM tubing and tractor supply heims?

So I talked with a my friend that works security at the sun, he basically said I shouldnt have anything to worry about, since they didn't make a copy of my license. He is going to check and see if my name pops up on their database though.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I got it for nothing so it's yours for nothing
