THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Depending on how long homework takes tomorrow night, I'll probably end up going to the 99 after.

You down Ross? I can bring your cash for the tubing.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

C'mon man, haven't you learned anything from the crap we've given Anthony?

We don't care about your excuses, but more importantly, neither does NACFest.

:D

Bitch I WILL be there with my MJ. I don't care how much stuff I have to half-ass. :D

I still think I'm on target. I hope to have the trackbar done before the weekend so that on Saturday I can finish boxing the UCA mount and then set the front down on your lame ass 6.5" coils and see where that puts me.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I actually dreamt I was driving it last night and it was done.

And I was completely amazed that my wiring harness worked, and that the NP435 shifted perfectly smooth.

Yep, definitely a dream

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

The problem is, it's Market Basket. As everyone know, unless you're high in the food chain the job sucks and you get shit on on a daily basis. My store manager LOVES me and wants me to work with the MB's HVAC crew when I graduate with my HVAC degree. Those guys make stupid money and actually get treated fairly well from the ones I have talked to. I've been there for six years and really don't want to stick my foot in my mouth or burn any bridges on my way out.
That sounds like it could be a pretty good gig. Are you trying to get into that group when you get your degree?
Anthony & anybody that enjoys a good beer, and that travels up north by n. conway, nh: http://www.ebenezerspub.net/ <--- can't wait to go there in 2 weekends. rated best beer bar in the world
I'll have to check that out. I'll be 15 mins from there this weekend. Thanks for the tip.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Yay, getting ready to going to go sell this spare transfercase, and I'm happy that I don't immediately have to take the money and walk into best buy and buy a new mp3 player.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Stupid ball joints on red jeep are keeping me from black jeep. I got pissed off yesterday and ended up torching the bj's off. I mighta also gotten very pissy and torched a knuckle, good thing I had a couple more.
Wow, never had that much trouble with balljoints. Why would torching anything even help?

What night should I show up? Tonight? Thursday? Friday?

Wednesday I'm probably in Haverhill fixing the brakes and assorted drivetrain stuff on a ZJ so I can't really meet then.

Heat. It's amazing how easy most jobs become when you heat everything up a bit.

To the point that it would destroy a knuckle? :dunno:

I didn't have to use heat to do the balljoints on the MJ, just put the press on them and turned it. Tapped it with a hammer a couple times and they popped.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

That makes sense.

Guess I got lucky on mine, the studs didn't spin. I was extremely careful to not break either one free from the knuckle till the nuts were both off. I would have been real pissed if they had come loose and left me spinning... this is why I chipped the rust off the threads and removed the cotter pin instead of just letting it get sheared by the nut.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Ken, tonight might work, what time would you be over here?
probably 6-7 or so, depending on traffic. I have no intention of staying late at work tonight.

Not really, I don't really like refrigeration and I'm also not keen on working commercial sized units, especially in the winter and summer on a rooftop. But the way I'm looking at it right now, is my foot is in the door and I'd be making a ton more money while I'm still young. When I start getting older and can't handle the elements as well, I'll switch to residential and do what I really want to do.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

hopefully i can get something done to the jeep this weekend. either mm's or the shackle brackets. if its a good weekend maybe both!

and, my coffee made me feel dizzy this morning, weird.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Oh Chris, maybe you can answer this.

Heretic Fab links are $165 a pop with tube adapters (So basically $350 after shipping) for 2 OD x .250 w 4130 heat treated.

I could get 2.25 OD x .375 w regular DOM for ~$140 shipped instead.

What would Jesus do?
