Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

i thought install went well the last time, im thinkin ax15 install aint gonna be so much fun though

I have a tranny jack you can borrow if you can figure out how to get it to you and back after you're done. Pulled a tranny and put it back in in about 2 hours with it. Did it with the Tcase bolted in, wouldn't do another tranny install by myself without it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Carmelo!!! I want that DVD on how to do more junk with my bridgeport!!! Im on a machining kick, I need more!!!

I tried to burn them with my mom's computer before I went to pick those screwdrivers up from you. This computer just keeps crashing and the smallest screwdriver wasn't small enough to fix my other laptop. It's on a external hard drive though. I could bring it over sometimes if you wanted and just transfer it to your computer.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I should do my taxes... they're gonna be all complicated and shit though :(
Tell me about it, this year, I have unemployment, 3 different employers, and I started my own business with the pistol training. I get to deduct my guns and part of my ammo, but damned If I can figure out how to do it.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

So what happened with my Droid was the backlight went out. I could still just see the screen and use the phone if I held it at a certain angle in the light. I just went to call verizon to reactive my old droid, so I could try and get stuff off it, I let it fall gently on the desk to pick up the phone to call, and bam, backlight is back on.

make sure you align the clutch and shit before bolting it all down... note: I have never done this myself I just know it's important.

you get to deduct your guns? that's pretty badass.

What I do is use taxslayer.com and let them figure all that shit out for me, it asks you a bunch of questions and fills the paperwork out for you for the feds and the state and even the city I think, for like 10-15 bucks per file. All you do is mail it with your receipts/copies/W2s/1099s etc and wait for the money to show up.

... that's kinda awesome I have to admit. Well, now you have a backup phone in case you truly break the other one I guess.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

You own not one, but two Jeeps. Your first reaction wasn't to smack it off the table?
My first thoughts the other day when I found out what was wrong with it were "dropping it made the backlight go out, lets see if dropping it some more can make the backlight go back on." I threw it around and dropped it quite a bit, but gave up since it wasn't working.

It was pretty awesome, I nearly jumped up with joy when I saw it magically light up. But no, I can't keep it, once I get everything backed up I have to send it in if I want to avoid a $175 fee, its an insurance replacement. I just don't trust the integrity of the phone anymore to just keep it and send the replacement back to save my $80.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Naw, they don't give a crap, they rebuild them and then sell them as replacement phones.

And I could always make it not work again.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

I spy an OX in that picture.

Damn this backup is going to take a while, never realized I have over 7300 text messages on my phone. I remember when my phone would yell at me if I had 50 text messages.

As long as I can say I use them for training, and I do. It was also explained to me that I can deduct my ammo, because even when I am shooting on my own time, I am improving my own skills, so I can write it off as training for the business. I don't think I will deduct all of it though, at least not this year, that may look suspicious seeing as I only did 3 classes, and I have receipts for over $1600 in ammo.

I use TurboTax, it walks you through everything step by step, but it doesn't comprehend deducting guns, so you have to enter it manually, and thats where I am getting screwed up.
