because turning radius's are so cool, why dont we just run open diffs?

if you arent doing competitions and you are primarily trailering your rig i wouldnt worry this much about it

Because traction > turning radius.

That's a valid point, but at the same time I don't want to have to do any 19 point turns.

Yeah we aren't all made of $, unfortunately. Many of us would be missing body parts, if we were.

I wonder what I'd sell first...

already considered this... kidneys, blood, and possibly part of a liver (I don't need it anyways, and you can donate only a little part.)

i never had an issue open/locked.

however, watching jep in the MJ with spool/spool... retarded. like 30 point turns. he couldnt make turns sam was making (lock right/detroit.. in case yinz didnt know..) in his jeep easily.

Who will pay for blood? Everywhere I know just wants it donated. I used to donate blood quite frequently... Don't really have a good reason for stopping.

I forgot about sperm banks :laugh:

I was able to do a 180 with the trailer in a small ass intersection in the backwoods roads on NH one time. I couldnt believe I was able to pull it off, if you know how to handle/plan it, turning radius isnt that big of an issue.

Because we're not competing. It's one thing to plan to have a decent turning radius, it's another to go to extreme lengths to obtain it.

I think all this locker/turning radius crap comes down to whatever the hell you can afford.

I don't have rent, lots of debt, or anything so I can afford to get a selectable/lockright.

I also don't plan on coilovers air shocks or any other expensive suspension components. My rear suspension has so far costed me $25.

I've heard you can get paid for it some places, but I haven't been yet. I haven't donated in a few months now because I've been up on the roof frequently, and with very little advance notice of which days are good for roofing I didn't want to be feeling lightheaded while on a ladder. They love it when I show up though, apparently having a vein half an inch in diameter in your elbow isn't normal, got the comment "christ, if I miss that one I should find a new line of work" last time. Makes things easy.
