If someone builds 3-link on a D30, builds a truss for it with new mounts and whatnot you wouldn't consider that advanced fab? What if they 4-link the back on an XJ44 or an 8.25?

If they're only running 33s and just like doing the fabwork, then who cares.

I'm going to be buying these once I figure out the back end:

Leaf spring plates
Shackle hangers

And some length of shackles, not sure yet.

I had 3/8" leaf spring plates on my UBEs on my XJ44 and I could bend them while tightening the bolts down. With the raised lips, they can't be bent.

Buying the shackle hangers just saves me the time.

I had 3/8" leaf spring plates on my UBEs on my XJ44 and I could bend them while tightening the bolts down. With the raised lips, they can't be bent.

Yeah about that, you might wanna get measurements off them to see if they'll fit the UBE perch. I jsut made them to whatever pattern/size I felt like and simply made a 3/8" top plate and transfered the holes over to match. I dunno if a premade peice would fit :dunno:

Oh really?

Alright well I'll check the measurements of the bolt holes and see what the distance is.

They have different ones so I'll just order the plates that fit the bolt holes you drilled.

I've had a few good sized lung cookies as well.

I get sick maybe once every two years, and even then, I only feel like absolutely crap for a day or two. Usually if I take it easy for a few days (yeah, right) it's over and done with.

However for the week or so after, I'll feel fine, but I'll talk funny and be constantly blowing my noise.

I really want to know wtf Sam drove this MJ through.

There's like pounds of sand in the bed and all over the place. Sitting on top of the frame rails, underneath the bed liner, and it's like clumped together.

Luckily, no rust. I did however get to breath in a fair share of dust/sand/cutoff wheel crap while doing the bed bob. Man that sucked.

I can only imagine the gunk that's collected in mine.

It probably weighs about 50lbs, contains every jeep fluid known to man, causes cancer instantly and rules a small central african nation...

I still have clumps and junk from WY/CO fall off black jeep in random areas. Im waiting to see how much junk is inside the rockers when I cut them out.

I swear I still have dust inside my XJ from rallying down Trail 1 at Tellico in 2004.

Apparently when my buddy hauled my rig out to KOH in 2009, he got stopped at an agricultural checkpoint at the CA border and had to open the trailer up. They were extremely interested in the dirt that was on my rig.

"Where did this dirt come from?"

"Uh, most likely pennsylvania sir. This is my friend's rockcrawler, he goes offroading there pretty often."

"Rockcrawler, huh. We're lookin for a different kind of crawler."

Yep, they were looking for some kind of bug that was infesting crops. And the guy actually used that line. It must have made his friggin day.

the kid who had it before me was from the city and wnated to lower it to the ground and install airbags. i delivered pizza in it. the only thing i really did to it that was "bad" was take it on a motocross track and drive fast down dirt roads lol

People of the NAC, these new moderators are corrupt and abusing their new found powers. Down with the new regime!

Those threads are not even build threads anymore. There are like 3 posts with tech for every 35 that are chit chat.

That is why I cringe every time someone is like "Oh I'm going to go start a build thread," or someone else tells someone to do that. I know exactly how it is going to end every time, and its like I wonder how everyone else must react or think once they see another NAC build thread, that just turns into chit chat that makes everyone's heads hurt.

I'm embarrassed to be associated with the NAC at these times
