I wasn't impressed with the jalapenos at my store either...they were little and kind of heatless. I don't know when their 'season' is but we might be out of it.

Other stuff sounds good, you must have a bigger cooker than I do. I don't have room to add anything without subtracting something else, which scares me. :laugh:

the smaller jalapenos have more heat than the larger ones normally. Canned ones are just nasty.

Chris, you might be able to help me.
I can pick up a used nascar detroit locker for my 9" for around $100. Its the big bearing locker.
I Want to run 35 spline axles, and people sell the used nascar detroits converted to 35 spline on ebay for around $400.
I cant seem to find any info on the internals, but I believe the case is the same. Do you have a source for the internals?

Off to home depot, then autozone, then work, then trading stuff and working on the house before the hoorrible weather hits again. Supposed to be a gross rain/snow/sleet mix Wednesday

That new guy in advfab seems thin skinned, less than literate, and overly proud of what is some fairly normal work, and I see it going badly if anyone tells him that is mod tech stuff.

Kinda an oops with the extra stuff. I used a 7oz can of jalepenos rather than one large fresh one. When I taste tested them out of the can I was like "hmm... nothing much more than a green pepper" so I added the whole thing and then the 7oz chipotle in adobo sauce. Mistake. With all the seasoning I added (little more than before but not much, just this time I added it right away rather than at the end) I doubt anyone else will want more than a little bit. I love it, but it sure has a heck of an after-bite and it still has the rest of the night to simmer. Oh well, more for me I guess since I didn't get more than a spoonful last time.

Reminds me of one of the cardinal rules of shock tuning - only change one thing at a time, so you know what that one thing did. :laugh:

There were these 1-lb packages of ground bison on sale for $7 when I got my stuff. That was tempting...if it's still on sale next time around I may try that.

Do you know what model it is?

I can cross-reference the side gears, maybe, but parts are notoriously hard to come by. Should be less than that difference if you can find 'em though.

I'll see if I can dig up the parts numbers first.

I wanna get my outlet for my weldah all done so I can play with metal melting and stuff. picked up a chopsaw from someone in DWE for $100 on saturday, so I'm now capable of chopping metal...I just need to be able to melt it back together now

Their chop saws are ridiculous. Impossible to stall unless all of your body weight is on it. I'm sure you may have to pace yourself but it'll work niiiiiiiiiice.

I wanted to go, but I had to teach on Saturday. A friend of mine races

it was awesome. there was a prius racing and some real nice STIs and EVOs. then some off the wall crap like a plymouth fury, and a miata

oh and we packed 9 people in the intergalactic shit hammer (01 altima rally car) to "sneak" into the pits.

yeah. frosty had it listed for 150, so i told him i'd be willing to give him a benjamin for it, otherwise i'd just order the milwaukee. he said a hundred was fine by him, and when I got it he even gave me an extra blade. :thumbup:
